Amazing the amount of childish posts in this forum. Thought this was a "professional" career.

Like talking about being scared of turbulence on the forums.........

First year FO (as in the rate you just published) will not be flying that plane. Maybe the top 3% of the company who are senior enough to hold it will. Check your facts and report back with an educated post.

hehehehehe, nice try. Trying to sprinkle some sugar on it ain't gonna fly.

Move over Mesa!

Yea Surf shut up. The F/O's flying that will be the top 3 percent, you know...the ones making 37 bucks an hour so HA! Take THAT!

More cheap shots at eachother, more more more!! This is so entertaining. I guess if you can't express yourself in the flight deck, this is the place to express your true selves. I didn't think there would be more then one thread about this same topic. But you guys like to spread the love I guess. Isn't it easier and just plain ol' more fun to not be the bad guy for once? Yeah, yeah.....livelihood, money, dreams, careers, respect and all that other prim & proper crap. After all of that, it all comes down to it just being business that everyone's in the middle of.

Cheapest? How do you figue...Skwy flys the 900 for almost $10/hr less and Mesa at 9/hr less. Its not about being cheapest or one of those regionals would be doing the flying.
Also, how is 2 aircraft going to bring down our upgrade times? Why don't you just be happy that you still have a job.

Besides the fact that SkyWest does not operate, have options on , or fly a variant of one that has a 100 seat cousin. Midwest still owes SkyWest over $9 million from last year and has allegedly missed a few more recent payments. I doubt SKW is interested in doing any additional flying for Midwest.

I think what we're seeing is the slow but sure purchase of Midwest by Republic that started with the "loan" Midwest was given last September.

All you guys/gals on here bitching sound like a bunch of school girls! How you can blame a pilot group for an aircraft order they had no say in befuddles me. Not only that, we are 2 years into an expired contract, with ongoing negotiations. Your anger is curiously misdirected at a pilot group, when it should be focused on the managment teams of RAH & ME. The only conclusion that can be drawn is that you are either: 1. uninformed 2. A bitch, pick one.

With these aircraft and these pay rates, how is Jetblue and Usairways supposed to negotiate their E190 rates come contract time?

FINALLY a "big picture" post.

.....didn't really hope to have a career at a regional flying a 190.

Future, what future? That light at the end of the tunnel is the landing light of a "regional" operated 195 coming right at you. Game (career) over, man.

The F/O's flying that will be the top 3 percent, you know...the ones making 37 bucks an hour so HA! Take THAT!

Hey, isn't $37/hr what Timmy H offered the down-graded CA's as a new payrate? That should give people a warm-fuzzy: "I make as much as a 717 CA makes!"

This thread is going round and round in circles. Ok so all of you that are PMS-ing over this 190 crap. Career over and all that jazz. If you claim your career(s) are over, then what are you all waiting for? Don't let that regional 195 at the end of the tunnel hit you, move out of the way. I'm sure there's quite a few peeps out there that are ready to put on them stripes for a few bucks. Heck they might even be happy. You have to remind yourselves that times are changing right before your very eyes. It was mostly small, gradual changes. But once in a while, there's an eye opening big change. You're either changing with it or not. You do (believe it or not), have a choice. You stay, or go. Everything changes at one time or another. From hot @$$ FA's back then to big fat dudes serving you that coke, things change. From one end of the spectrum to the next. Eventually it may come full circle, but it won't stop there. It'll keep changing. You just have to try and make the best of it. Quit immaturely blaming eachother. Whether you like it not, you're all in it together. And I think that's the real big picture. Honestly, what the heck do you all want these Republic pilots to do? What....??
