It's my personal rule not to discuss things until the pilots bring it up first so I welcome his posts.

Beedubya, you've just become my ace. If ever questioned I'm gonna say, "Hey, he started it!" :D

Seriously, B, nice to see you posting here.

Just what do you think you are doing!!!!!!!!! :smash:

Are you a NJA pilot? If so, then you feel comfortable posting what is obviously internal information on public site?

Not Cool.

Why not???? You're all too willing to post every other detail and toot your own horns (facade that it so often is) at every opportunity...Obviously THIS TIME its not so rosy...of course the spin on here will say otherwise, why they all cry in their soup on the internal board.

The post by Abbey is likely most accurate...and no one will do early outs and vol leaves in this economy.

WHY are people STILL posting to B19???? This board never changes.

calm down sally.....my bet is 150 AT LEAST.....those numbers are just too good. I'm thinking I may be one of them.

Meanwhile, at NJI: crickets......chirp.....chirp.

No ICOM, nothing on the website. Had to read the data on the NJASAP site. Supposedly a "comparable package" but so far: nada from the swamp.

On a side note, if I were over 60 I'd be faxing my paperwork right now. Smoking deal in my opinion on all fronts. Good for the company and good for the employees.

Guys are your numbers a total guess or just the early out option? Since we're speculating....I could see that range for separations, but surely voluntary leaves will go much higher? No crystal ball here. That's just my take on it as a wife looking at the economy.

GSD, I was aware of the hard work done on both sides so your reaction is what I was hoping to see. Surely your comparable package is on its way. Keep us posted, please. We're all in this together.

Put it this way. I think numbers are gonna be great. I'm taking the year off with 33 percent pay. And I was not even considering it. I can live on that and spend the WHOLE year with my family. Once in a lifetime opportunity there.

Wow. What a great package. I'm guessing about 500 to 600 will take the reduced schedules, LOAs, or early outs.:)

Without posting the internal info, all I can say is WOW. This is a first. A job well done between our UNION and our MANAGEMENT. I applaud both sides..

In total, I'd say the title of this thread is spot on......

yup.......things will never be the same now. I feel withdrawl symptoms coming on.....I need a new management hack to b1tch slap around now.

It does not take much effort... I am Brian Ward. Yes, a NJ pilot.

I am VERY well aware of what is internal, proprietary information and what is not. NOTHING I posted is proprietary. I posted generalities and NOT specifics. There is no secret that the Union and company are working together to mitigate furloughs. We have no intention of keeping it secret. (We are quite proud of our Management-Labor partnership.) All that I posted (in generalities) have been speculated about here, and in other public forums. I have little doubt that the specifics will be found in public forums once released (but I will NOT be posting those).

If you have any questions or problems, and you are also a NJ pilot, you have my contact info, it's all over the Union site. Feel free to pick up the phone and call.

Brian

huh? What do you know that our side doesn't?

It was a nice break when you weren't here.

ICOM from HXD and website posting finally up at 21:09 Eastern. Substantially the same as NJA but missing one or two things and the years of service calculations are slightly different.

Get the ******************** over yourself, willya?

What the hell difference does it make if it comes out now or leaks out in dribs and drabs?

Sheesh.

Yes, you are a pilot. But not only a pilot, but helped write this package.

Only one thing to say to you, thank you for your help and hard work.

Brain does answer his phone, and he will take the time to explain it to you until you have no more questions.

Yep, B19 better have a big appetite for the crow that he's going to have to eat. Amazing LOA, thanks to NJASAP and the company for unprecedented package. I'm seriously considering one or two of the options that have been presented.

Uh yeah, you have a problem with Beedub, you got a problem with 90 percent of the NJA pilot force.

that beedubya is one smart fella. my sources tell me there were 2 primary goals.

1. take every step possible to prevent a reduction in workforce by providing a 'smorgasburd' of extremely attractive voluntary options the pilots can choose from.

2. ensure the CBA remained just as strong as it was at the start.

mission accomplished

time will tell. I'm sure there are some hoping these steps fail so they can gloat BUT it's clear this is ground-breaking stuff that's never been seen before.

the easiest thing in the world for a company to do is furlough. That's a quick decision that involves little work. The package introduced today took weeks of long days and unprecedented cooperation. I'm sure it was extremely difficult for both sides. Who knows what the future will bring? I do know this is a great example of a strong management/labor partnership.

huh? What do you know that our side doesn't?...

I'll rephrase my post just for you... Sorry for any confusion. Try this: I have followed the situation closely (no secret they were working together) and knew that both sides (NJASAP and the Company) were working hard to come up with mitigation proposals that would interest the pilots.

Even though things have been hectic for my family lately, I had faith that that much talent (echoing the kudos to Brian) pulled together for a good cause would be effective. I'm glad the pilots are pleased.

GSD, thanks for the update. I'm relieved for the NJI pilots, but not surprised. Given the cooperative spirit, I expected fairness to follow.

Substantially the same as NJA but missing one or two things and the years of service calculations are slightly different.

The calculation difference is based on the differences in how (not amount, but method) NJA and NJI pilots are paid. Specifically, that all NJA pilots are paid via negotiated wage tables found in the CBA.

You're welcome. I am happy to help answer any questions I can about this package. I hope that many of our pilots will find something in it that will be good for them and their families.

That is an understatement. I had the pleasure of flying with him and can't tell you how great it is to see people like him doing union work.

Even if this doesn't all pan out and I get furloughed, it's really nice knowing how hard the company and union worked together doing everything in their power to prevent it.

I am truly grateful to be working for someone like RTS and with someone like Brian.

Thanks for the kind words.

I am also very happy to work for NJ (and RTS). It's a great place to be... And I am very grateful to be working with the great pilots at NJ. Truly, a terrific bunch!

Regardless of how things work out for you guys, one thing is for sure...........

It must be a great feeling knowing you have a strong pilot group as a whole, and a management that actually gives a sh t about their employees.

And people still wonder why NJ is by far and away the best Frac out there.

Thanks, Fast! It's been an amazing past 6 yrs and my pride in the pilots and Company just keeps growing as they overcome each challenge--respectfully, together.
