Near as I can figure, he started class March 07. I'm also betting he's only 26-28.
Oh ok. So he walks into 9E (probably because it's the only place that would take him) in the middle of contract negotiations, he willfully agreed to fly for the $hitty wages he's got, he never bothered to educate himself on the RLA and never bothered to volunteer for the union but he's going to bitch and complain about his situation. Real men of genius. And no doubt, when you finally do get your contract and signing bonus he'll bitch that he didn't get enough and that it was all unfair. Sounds like a free loading parasite. Let's all hope that the next time he gets in trouble he forgoes union representation (because they suck so bad anyway, yada yada yada) and sees how generous your company can really be. Just wait till he gets Beeker's attention. I definately don't miss that guy.
Hey can somebody remind me please what the only organization at 9E is that is composed of pilots and works for pilots. And who would you trust more to do right by you? That organization or the company?

I'll take a stab, but you have to promise to stop name calling in the majority of your posts with those whom you don't agree.
The question you posed is almost impossible to answer. To correct you first; Mesaba's pilot group is far from "anointed." If you saw the last batch of low time wonders you would understand. There are of few of those that slipped through the HR hiring crack when we couldn't fill seats fast enough. Thank God the days of hiring guys with less than 1000 hrs total time are history. With that being said, The majority of pilots at Mesaba would rather be working at Home Depot than work for Pinnacle. That's a Fact. It's a different culture at Mesaba. Our pilot group takes pride in our safety record and our professionalism. For about 2-3 years at Pinnacle it was one violation after accident after incident. Over and over and over and over and over again. Regan National, the mountains of Montana, the overfly with F16's in DTW, the off roading in MKE, the winter wonderland in TVC, and of course and Jefferson City accident.
Now that the crazy hiring boom has ended for 9E, we have seen a ruduction of crazy incidents. Thank God.
So what's my point? You can't compare apples and oranges. You would not have our pilot group with your management. So it's hard to rationalize that situation. But if it was the case, our pilots would have quit during day 5 of indoc once they saw what a cluster F your training department was over the last few years.
Hope this helps you understand the perspective Mesaba pilots have about 9E. We don't despise the individual pilot, just what the whole pilot group stands for and the foundation from which it stems.
Clear as mud? I hope so.

So how is your mesaba child molesting pilot down in Iah doing anyways? Did Chris Hansen get ahold of him yet for a show?

Look at all the exclusions you included in your little factual evidence inquiry?

How does Pinnacle's 1999 contract compare to all other Memphis based Saab 340 air carriers with less than 300 pilots?

Give me a break. Block or better is not a new invention. Many airlines have had it... Pinnacle's contract was and is a steaming turd, plain and simple.

The Express Airlines I (Pinnacle) contract was industry-standard in 1999 when it was signed. Not industry-standard for a Memphis based Saab 340 air carrier with less than 300 pilots, but industry standard for 40-50 seat RJ carriers. Within the next few years, Air Whisky, Comair, ExpressJet, and other carriers got some great contracts, and that left Pinnacle in the dust, but when the agreement was signed, it was clearly industry-average. Your attacks on EXA ALPA (the old name before becoming PCL) are unfounded, and your attacks on PCL ALPA are completely ridiculous. Your MEC Chairman is about as good as they come, and many of your complaints, such as block or better, are being addressed.

Calm down and support your union instead of being a malcontent. Malcontents never accomplish anything. Join a committee if you want to make a difference.

I'm so sick of hearing that tired comeback. The solution will come when the equivocating and excuse making ends... and the pilot group and the MEC finally decide to grow a pair.

You know, the other day, for the first time in six years, I had to take the controls from an FO. I'm betting $1000 it was you. The way your cocky a$$ talked in the cockpit matches almost exactly with the way you talk on this board. It would be something if you could actually fly a plane. Nevermind the fact that you expect Scott and Wake to spend a couple of months in jail so that you can get a $5 pay raise. It will take as long as it takes. When you grow up a little bit and get some patience, you will understand this.
