This is what a real union can do. Instead of all this impotent hang-wringing about law suits and professionalism.

Last week, thousands of pilots at American Airlines met to discuss ways to delay passenger flights so their union can pressure management for a better contract. The Allied Pilots Association even invited reporters to the event and said that eventually some pilots might not show up for duty.

This sort of proactive united action is nothing but a pipe dream at Pinnacle. Let the excuse making begin!

I disagree with your post/opinion. But I respect your view.

I and disagree with yours. I simply think you are putting the blame in the wrong place. Your critism of hiring super low time guys just to fill the seats I agree with however.

To say this another way. I have several friends that I flew with and taught with at both companies. I can honestly say there is NO difference in the skill, attitude, ability, safety mindedness, professionalism, appearance, dues paid or any other difference between my friends that went to Mesaba and those of us that went to 9E. The difference however, is the enviroment. 9E has much to be criticized for. I am often the first to do so. But to think that our more experienced pilots (not super low time) are to blame, you are very wrong.

As far as the low time guys, that is out of our control as pilots the same way as it was out of your control when you were hiring low time guys. The difference was that we needed many more of them for a much longer time. And for that, it was unfortunate, but it was not in OUR control.

You guys have not been paying attention to the rest of the board. ALL regional pilots are unsafe and unprofessional. It's not just you guys!!

We are all a bunch of inexperienced, jet stealing, back stabbing, scabbed out, spiky haired, low-balling contract flying, sjs syndromed, dangerous idiots; who should not be allowed to fly passengers.

My gosh; we are not worthy to lick sweat off the sack of the most lowly mainline pilot!!

And you guys are fighting about which of us sucks the most??

We all suck!!!

Don’t worry, it’s probably just a lot of talk. I haven’t noticed any attitudes like this. I talk to those guys a lot when they let us give em a ride and it sounds like they have a lot respect for what we do.:erm:

.

That's cuz yer givin em a ride!!!
