so there you got it about LAS......

I didn't pay much attention to much else, only noticed my name on the furlough page.....

Since you guys never merged the seniority lists OFFICIALLY, and the West side is pretty much closing the LAS base, it seems logical, even though it is unfortunate.
That's a true statement but it's complicated by the Transition Agreement which states (in summary) that the newhires since the merger are junior to everybody else. Depending on how the LOA situation goes it's possible East newhires could keep their job while more senior Westies get furloughed. That's a clear violation and one we can count on AL-SAPA to ignore -- to their peril.

Why don't you get a recall effort going? then you can get your own guys elected.

the reality remains that many on the west will be furloughed out of senority order - ANY seniority order you'd like to use (NIC, LOS, DOH).

This includes org. west guys as well as east furloughed recalls that were placed on the west. Just another shining example of how USAPA pounds the DOH chest only when it works in their favor and looks the otherway when it doesn't.

Not to worry...

I'm sure USAPA is busy setting up a fund to cover the COBRA payments for the upcoming furloughees, that's what quality MEC's do in a time of crisis.

Elected? What makes you think Bradford would condone an election, much less the insurrrection of a recall? USAPA had the only vote you'll see in a very long while.

Remember USAPA said they were building "from the pilot up" which pretty much says where they consider the pilot in the pecking order.

Gentleman, do not forget. The USAPA self appointed leadership is there for 18 months. No elections, no representation. There are East pilots that have not paid a dime to USAPA, yet not one of them has received a bill or been sued by USAPA. We all know what this is about.

From their lawyers mouth, "Tryanny of the majority is called democracy".

It's on videotape and viewable on Youtube.

And General, do me a favor, do not comment on something you know very little of, and I will do the same. I know very little on the DL/NW situation and would never comment.

There is much more at play here than you are aware of, period end of discussion.
