That's a true statement but it's complicated by the Transition Agreement which states (in summary) that the newhires since the merger are junior to everybody else. Depending on how the LOA situation goes it's possible East newhires could keep their job while more senior Westies get furloughed. That's a clear violation and one we can count on AL-SAPA to ignore -- to their peril.Since you guys never merged the seniority lists OFFICIALLY, and the West side is pretty much closing the LAS base, it seems logical, even though it is unfortunate.

the reality remains that many on the west will be furloughed out of senority order - ANY seniority order you'd like to use (NIC, LOS, DOH).
This includes org. west guys as well as east furloughed recalls that were placed on the west. Just another shining example of how USAPA pounds the DOH chest only when it works in their favor and looks the otherway when it doesn't.
Why don't you get a recall effort going? then you can get your own guys elected.
