Grizz.... I've made it chrystal clear that I only post for the entertainment value.

With that stated, my family and I have gone through hell because of unions, and I've seen union activity from places most of you, including yourself have not.

When I ask questions, I get ignored, because as you state, "I'm a moron".

So tell me...

"When a pilot volunteers for union work and gets paid a stipend to cover lost income for time lost flying, does the union prorate and reimburse Netjets for the money paid to the same employee for health insurance, workers comp premiums, taxes and other benefits also?

We both know it's just an accepted way of doing business, but it doesn't make it right. The pilot was hired to fly, and just making his income up while Netjets pays his full boat of benefits while he stays on the ground doing union business is a little unfair to the company and directly affects the bottom line.

I'll be there to continue to chuckle like I have over the past week or so about about your "orderly transition."

I feel sorry for you and your family.

How many employees have been put through hell because of unethical and/or talentless management teams?

There are "dirt bags" on both sides of the fence. I can't blame anyone who fights back - in fact I commend anyone and everyone who fights back.

Simple solution; don't be a "dirt bag," one on side or the other. And, in the end if you are a "dirt bag" don't cry about it if you get your ass kicked. Especially when you ask for it.

I'm glad you agree with Griz! He is a highly regarded individual at Netjets.

I think many other will agree with your statement as well!

How about it gang?

I think a callous, unethical attitude explains the fudspinner's posts, more than a lack of intelligence. His constant attacks against Union volunteers and their supporters can be said to show a twisted cunning--but integrity and fairness are notably lacking.

He made the statement, and as predicted none of you have had the nuts to answer any of the ethics questions I've asked.

Just makes my case that unions have no ethics.

Why would you feel sorry for me? You are the one stuck with a union.

The only professional help I need is with an accountant. That was only possible after I shed the union carrier I last worked for. If I had stayed, I would be once again on the list of being laid off as my former carrier just announced more layoffs.

The fact is "managements" track record is much worse, or haven't you heard of companies like Enron, Worldcom, etc.? While there may occasionally be incidents of corruption within unions, by and large, they have done far more good than harm, and protected the rights of workers from the abuse of management.

Case in point....

Does anyone really believe that Sh-tfinger would have been removed as CEO of Flight Options if we didn't have a Union on the property?

Get real.

Great post, 993!
