Sorry, I'm going to have to raise the BS flag here. In fact, after a quick check of your previous posts, you were still a pinnacle pilot in mid-november....Still, though, my money is on you being a POed current Pinnacle guy. I imagine the real reason you don't want to see a DAL/NWA merger is because you know your Pinnacle job would be in serious jeopardy. Just my opinions, but I think you're full of crap.

I think with the seeming preoccupation with blankets he's a F/A, not a pilot, in which case a merge with NWA unionized AFA would really have him sweating...

Northwest has always treated me great jumpseating. Ive even had an FA give me a bottle of wine before deplaning. The only think that I dont like about NW is allowing Compass to exist while they park DC-9s.

well, then, maybe you guys have already hired pocono pilot. good luck with that.

in any case, enjoy steenland and the greediest, most worthless bunch of execs in the industry, including ALPA (and that's saying something).

Just to clarify,

XJ is Mesaba

XE or XJT is ExpressJet

That is my point. Some FA's at Northwest steal. That was a stolen bottle of wine given to you. I am almost certain it was not a holiday!

Gee, I thought you were about to take a job there....

At least that's what you said here ...

I MUST be missing where "there" is....

A quick search of his previous posts will show that most of his posts are nothing more than bashing or flamebaiting. I find it ironic he makes fun of Pocono pilots posts yet he does the same thing. Maybe he is Pocono also and just likes to post flamebait.

Tell that to the last two classes...48 new hires straight to the 767 international. I flew the 88 for a couple months and then checked out on the 767 domestic (primarily 757 flying).

He/she is right about the NWA agents... I've found they are alot more polite to me now that I'm not wearing the Pinnacle uniform. They are still pretty bad though... rude to customers, especially to nonrevs. I've been told numerous times that "I can't sit in first class so neither can you."

Its amazing how many times I've sat in the 9 cockpit with both guys just depressingly staring out the window.

Also, never accuse a 9E or XJ driver about failing an interview at NWA. NWA now has a policy in their latest hiring cycle of NOT interviewing 9E or XJ guys.

Thank You PeanuckleCRJ for your honesty and support.

I stand corrected. My apologies. I still think he's full of it though.

This is an incorrect statement.

Dude...Less than 2 months go you were posting all over the "Compass or Pinnacle" thread here claiming to be a Pinnacle pilot, which, even that was not very believable given the content of your posts there.

"I have being on reserve almost three years and I still love my job. I love flying and I love my fellow pilots. What a privilege to be part of something so awesome.
Now we are supposed to believe that you are a Delta pilot with a serious anti-NWA attitude? Uhhh....I don't think so..

This is an incorrect statement.

I wish I could agree with you on that.... if you can find me a current 9E guy that has gotten an interview with NWA, it would be news to me. The only former 9E guys that have gotten interviews to my knowledge are ones that have moved on to an LCC or freight outfit.

You wish! Just be honest and accept that you wake up during your 48 hour layover in Minot wishing you are a Delta Pilot.
It is a dream you can make come true. We are hiring! and be honest the merger would be a career advancement for you.
I wish you the best and if we merge despite my ill feelings towards the merger. Drinks are on me! We treat our fellow employees nicely.

Exactly. I can't find a single Pinnacle pilot that is getting an NWA interview. Seems that you first have to leave Pinnacle, then NWA will take a look at you.

AWESOME I mean Pinnacle not Northwest?!
Delta treats regional pilots in their system nicely and every new hire class has a crowd of ASA guys in it.
I enjoyed working at Pinnacle and I know that quite a few Northwest people treated us really badly. Espercially gate agents. Stop defending a bad situation at NWA rather seek a solution. I always went to the gate at KSTL to stop the NWA gate agent from turning away jumpseaters from AA and other Airlines. The way you guys treated JETBLUE a few years back was a shame. But it got fixed. You can fix this also.

Might want to ask a few Comair pilots about that. And, no, the Delta system most certainly does not treat its regional pilots well. Matter of fact, I got more scowls than friendly nods from Delta pilots during my years at ASA.
