Maybe American is the "fourth partner" and not SW???

What other airline out there has the cabbage to buy Eagle besides OO???

Might not be an outright sale:

Yahoo Article said:
AMR continues to evaluate the form of the divestiture, which may include a spin-off to AMR shareholders, a sale to a third party, or some other form of separation from AMR.

To more directly answer your question, Alaska Air Group is sitting on $900 million. That might be enough cabbage.

How long til Mesa takes Eagle's place to feed American?

Ill be damned. Spacecadet was right.
Word around the Eagle boad is that it will be OO, they are the only ones with enough cash on hand to buy AE, this could get interesting if it were to be the case, pretty much our entire list is more senior then OO's.
