Could someone who works for FlexJet tell me what a person can expect to make in the first year? Also can you give an example breakdown of the extras added to the base pay?
be informed.
Those payrates are just a guideline. Flexjet pay is what the management says it is. If they want to change it at anytime and freeze your pay they can. If they want to withdrawl bonus pay, they can. With no contract, its a "what management wants/needs" at-the-time-payscale.
Their attrition rate is at 20% for a reason.
Now soon 300pilot will come and rebut the above, however please understand his, "its all about me" mentality.
Great product, but not a great place to work.
WOW a simply specific question about a specific company and some nut job that can't read has to chime in with something that has been beat to death by these union loving idiots. If you want to talk about your precious union there is your own section for that. Use it.
Why is it that people can't have a choice about weather they want to work for a union shop or not. you have a union we don't, that way there is a choice. Or are we not allowed to have that anymore, I didn't get a memo.
Every thread on here that has Flex Jet in it always has someone saying how bad it is here, and how we need to have a union. We don't all need to be the same.
If you work here and don't like it then quit. If you don't work here then I don't see why you have to always put us down.
This life is too short to not enjoy your job.
I don't buy any rumor that they want to us, it goes along with they want options and shares as well.
But if we unionize with them we might as well have been bought cause we will still be the unwanted stepchild.
I'm curious as to why you feel that the Flex pilots would be "the unwanted stephchild" if 1108 is voted in. From what 1108's leadership has said, Flex's pilots wouldn't be at all lesser participants in the union nor would they receive lesser efforts from the leadership of 1108.
What makes a unions leadership any different than a companies. They are both out do do nothing more than make money off of our hard work. So why should I believe what the union says? When things go bad they will put all there effort into helping the group that gives them more money. Where does that leave us at Flex? From what I have lived through, it takes money from us while the bigger group makes more money. You can try and tell me that they are different than ALPA, but a union is a union no matter what they tell you.
