If I remember correctly, I believe Shuttle America has the overwater exemption too and does indeed fly to the Caribbean from ATL

Hmm, aren't we getting ahead of ourselves. I haven't seen the pilot group ratify or even given the chance to vote on a TA. I dont see why ASA is entiltled to fly the 900'smore than all the companies that them to fly for Delta out of ATL: Skywest, Pinnacle, Comair, and Freedom. Why not get through the contract first?

English major? I didn't think so.

You don't see why it makes sense for ASA to operate the airplanes which came from its' order book out of its only base where it used to perform 100% of the "Connection" flying?

You can't see that - heck - :pimp: Stevie Wonder :pimp: can see more than that.

Oh, so Skywest is now going to pay millions of dollars to transfer the 900's to ASA?

Why would SkyWest hand the aircraft with 1st-class seating over to the worst on-time regional from the best on-time regional?

Hand them over to who? SkyWest Inc., is SkyWest Inc.; it is the same Corporate owner.

The airplanes will get passed back and forth to award, or punish, the pilots at management's whim. This is what is called "whipsaw" and will continue until labor gets together and organizes to stop the constant attack on your job position.

ASA operates in a totally different environment with many more challenges than does Skywest. Trust me, from having been based out west, running around out west is a totally different ball game than the east.

Yeah, because SkyWest never flies into ORD, EWR, ATL, GVG, IAD, BWI, DFW, IAH, HOU or DEN/SLC in the winter.

Your argument is flawed, SkyWest has better performance in ATL than any other DCI carrier.

Yeah, but does Skywest have 40 minute scheduled turns in ATL all day long? With 20 minute turns at the outstations?
