Funny how that Forbes article came out the other day about how we are the worst regional, then a TA. Great job by our CNC and all volunteers and the like.

Had nothing to do with it. Delta management finally had enough, just like in 98. Thanks to the Delta MEC for telling Delta management they needed to settle this, it helped. And of course I can't say thanks enough to our hard working CNC and MEC, especially JR.

Congrats ASA Folks! I know it has been one helluva road to get to this point. Good Luck with the new TA!

While QOL is important it does not pay the bills!

Are you freaking kidding me???? First off, the biggest changes needed for ASA in a new contract was QOL issues that we severely lacked, and lagged behind most of the industry, and most ASA pilots claimed was their biggest wants in the new contract.

Next, the post was from an FO. Industry wide, as well as DCI ave, ASA FO's are already among the higest paid and one of the only that are paid 60% of Captain rates.

And, I stand by my original statement that one needs to consider things like duty rigs and profit sharing as total compensation and not just look at hourly rates.

That will pay the bills.

Congratulations, guys!!!! This is great news. Your perseverance has paid off, and this contract will help to raise the bar for all of the other regionals in negotiations.

Breather break for the Thread....

Hoser, Hoser, Hoser......

Matt won 2 NC's, competed for a 3rd....Won the Heisman and LOST to Kal and Texas in his entire career at USC. Went wire to wire #1 in 2004, which only Florida State and Nebraska (possibly Miami as well) has ever done. Led more 4th Quarter comebacks than I can remember, but Notre Dame in 2005 being the most memorable. I'm not even quoting numbers here, because I don't want to bother. With only that info, you could make a case. The term arguably was used, for that reason. And this IS COLLEGE CAREER, not Pro I'm talking about.

Even if the hour rates aren't a whole lot higher, with the duty rigs and profit sharing your W-2's will be a lot bigger than they were in the past. Very interested to see how the scope looks. Nice job ASA!

I think it was a combination. First the time, then all the negative publicity. Also the determination of all involved, from the CNC to the pilot group as a whole.

Now project a little, if the sky is falling crowd were right, the transfer of assets because we are too expensive should start the DOS.

My prediction, look for the ASA name to go away, BL and CT are gone, PBS, and all the good and bad things Skywest has. Also, either a MCO, DFW, or MEM base.
