We lost by four votes. We needed 155 and we only got 151. All that time standing in airports talking till we were blue in the face trying to get people on board. Well, I hope everyone enjoys the beatings that are only going to get worse. Myself and others on the OC tried, it's gonna get ugly! Enjoy the sleeping bear you all just woke up!

Wow, now that apparently Colgan / Pinnacle management doesn't have anything to worry about with ALPA coming onboard.... just wait and see how fast they change how they act. You guys are going to get screwed...hard. I'm sorry.
 
what do you think was the biggest obstacle to convincing people to vote for ALPA?

I really don't know and appreciate serious responses.

I think it was combination of things. One thing for sure is that it was not a vote of confidence in Pinnacle management but more a vote of NO-confidence in ALPA.
 
you have got to be kidding me???? Where can one find the official news? I tried the ALPA website and the NMB website. Where are you guys getting this info?
 
well i must say i'm a bit shocked...god, how did they win with that terrible letter campaign? are 1/2 our guys that brainwashed?

It's Colgan.........how in the hell does Colgan not have a union???? Chuck was an @$$ and I figured they would have turned ALPA soon after their inception.

Before you pass judgement you should know that the way the system is setup, a vote at all would go to ALPA. There is no way to vote for management. Just for ALPA or not and because ALPA is the only one petitioning, it goes to them, even if you vote no. This was made very clear and so the fact that people did not vote was a very conscious decision.
 
The crazy thing is that all of you retards that voted NO have no idea what you have just done. Have you liked the way the Colgans have treated you over the last 5 years, if you have get ready because the ride is about to get more turbulant. Colgan sold the company to the "pinnacle" group 6 months ago without letting any of us know about it. Thats family????? In 6 months when the COLGANS contract with pinnacle expires, after they show pinnacle where the light switches and crappers are they are walking out the door never to return. So those of you NEY voters you have six months left before father pinnacle starts telling you what to do and how to do it, do you think for one minute that they are going to give you anything the colgans have been giving you over the years???? Who is going to be in your corner now when you have a bad day.. Thanks for screwing the rest of us........................................... Those JACK**SES that have had more accidents in this industry than Clinton has had Bl** jobs are going to strip all of us of any pride we have left.

Thanks East Coast Saab crews...I know Houston pulled their weight, and I know the Beech guys were solid.
I dont want to hear any complaining from you East Saab guys when uncle Phil creeps into your room in the middle of the night and has his way with you.
 
It is ashame....I know many senior folks were against the union because they loved the favoritism from dot and mikey. reality shall smack them in the face when dot and mikey are gone. Also the out and backs they are used to will be gone. They will be happy campers commuting for their first time at colgan and get the lowest pay in the industy. have fun colgan lifers!!

has anyone else seen the "victory" in big red letters on the cjc pilot group page? not sure what they think they have won...
