Aside from my technical qualifications, I have always prided myself in working well with my peers and paying attention to the most important people at a Corporate Flight department our customers.

With your upcoming new routes and aircraft acquisitions, I believe my flying experience, career dedication, and positive attitude would be a benefit to your airline. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you in the very near future.

Personal and Customer Service Mission Statement

I posses nine of what I consider the most important qualities of a First Officer and one day Captain: initiative, high motivation, outstanding organizational skills, self-starter, integrity and good communication skills, team work, caring, and ability to conduct a program to its fullest while keeping in mind safety being first. My easy going nature and ability to get along with people would certainly contribute to my ability as a crew member and function both as a friend and a mentor.
It's easy to talk about building customer loyalty. But actually providing the exceptional customer service experience that creates loyalty is another matter. To offer that customer experience requires employees who can respond quickly and personally to customer requests, whether it's for product information, a transaction history, or changes to a pending flight. Empowered, knowledgeable employees become a company's customer service champions, and your company is working to provide the technology that helps a company grow with on time performance!

My Philosophy and Challenge of Customer Service

A company that provides great customer service can gain a competitive edge. That's because study after study shows that customers today aren't happy with the way they're treated. That in recent years the difficulty faced by retailers and others in meeting customer expectations and handling growing customer volume has led to declines in customer satisfaction in a wide range of industries, from retail to healthcare to travel.
When customers show up in a somewhat sour mood due to rising energy prices and the feeling that their paycheck isn't going as far as it once did. Moreover, the customer dissatisfaction has wide implications. The U.S. economy is heavily dependent on increases in consumer spending. Such increases are hard to come by when consumers become less satisfied.
It doesn't help that customers today have more choices than ever before, whether it's seeking merchants on the Internet, demanding greater customization, or wanting answers to questions around the clock with time sensitive materials.

Clearly, offering superb customer service confers enormous benefits on a company. The right technology can create a pathway to great customer service by empowering employees to fully focus on the customer rather than spending their customer contact time looking up records or asking other employees for help. With information about a customer or a company's products at their fingertips, employees can put to work their experience and desire to succeed for any company that relies on satisfied customers. And satisfied customers become what a company really needs: loyal customers. I feel that I am ready to provide your company with excellence in this department. Cause with out them your company does not make profits!

Thanks

Are you trying to apply for a job at Jet Linx Aviation?

I was told Jet Linx Aviation is not a bad place to work.If you have spent three years in a Turkist prison. This was my personal observation after talking to alot of their past and current pilots.

Pilot754 is a loose in the brains dept...look about on the website and you will find him everywhere..describing how many jobs he's lost etc....etc...

Parts of pilot754's strangely irrelevant and lengthy cover letter are taken word for word from this Microsoft article on building customer loyalty.

He's been doing this kind of thing repeatedly for over a year. See here, and here for examples.

Jet Linx Aviation ?

How is he not perfect for Jet Linx?
I would have to agree, because most of the management personal are misfits and have no clue or direction. This person might be a perfect fit for a company that is struggling to keep just about any pilot in their organization.

It never ends with this guy! Pilot754, you plagiarizing tool, please go find a new career! I hear the landscaping guy down the street needs a new mower pusher. Maybe after 2 weeks you can upgrade to the riding mower with your 3 hrs. of turbine.

Wang's thoughts on Jet Linx Aviation

They will be hiring more pilots to replace the ones who are still quiting and there will be more to come in the near future. I think training pilots for their next job with a fifteen thousand dollar Beechjet type ratings is very stupied. This is basic management skills learned in a college management class.Fly alot more Sushi

Yes it is stupid for Jet Linx to do that, but that is what they did to themselves. They made their bed, they can sleep in it. If it happens to be advantageous for pilots to take advantage of, fine. But as a matter of economics, look at it this way:
Jet Linx pays new hire FO's $36,000 a year. Add the type rating and that is about $50,000.

That is what my company pays a new FO, and they must come typed already.

So really, a guy is paying for his own type rating. I know a lot of people don't like the idea of paying for your own type, but it is getting a lot harder to find good jobs without one.

With management/owners that currently exists at Jet Linx, nothing will change. So why not let some pilots with low time use it to get ahead?

As for Pilot754, I hope that he decides on a new career before he kills someone. I also hope that the morons at Jet Linx can weed him out, but I don't think that is likely. They do hire good pilots, but they also don't hesitate to hire guys with no talent.

Pilot754, how do you claim to have flown a CRJ200/700, Dash 8, LR 45, and only have 2 hours of turbine? Four airplanes in two hours... 0.5 hours each?

Jet Linx Aviation is nothing more than a low rent 134.5 bottom feeder with bad management.I think a collage graduate with no aviation experience could do a better job at running the comany. They have alot of high paid managers who sit around and do nothing or put themselves on the best trips in their better aircraft. The company needs a major change of command to turn it around.

We don't want them to turn around

I feel fine with Jet Linx never fixing their problems. I would rather see them go away. Then let the 20 managers explain in their next job interview why with one manager per pilot, they couldn't manage their way out of a wet paper sack.

I would have to agree with your comments.

Senior Captain Quits

I heard one of the best captains Jet Linx Aviation had just put in his two weeks notice. This is a major hit on the company as captains are concerned, but I'am sure they will find some low time flight instructor to fill his position. The company is really starting to scare me on the experience level and safety of their pilots. How can they have the second in command pilots log pilot in command time when they are not pilot in command current after six months?

More new hires on the way!

With the best qualified pilots quiting for alot better jobs.Jet Linx Aviation has to hire who ever they can find to fill the vacant positions. The safety of the company is compromised with the departure of the more experienced captains and more will be leaving soon.I would not want to have the responsibility of the director of operations or chief pilot in this bad situation.Line guys rule!

The return of Wang

The training at Jet Linx Aviation is subpar at best. They put you through a computer training course that takes around sixty hours to finish. Most of the pilots use the memorize dump method without learning any valuable information about company procedures, operation manual, etc.I heard the Lincoln Nebraska FAA was trying to make them improve their training program. They should go back to a week of ground school on all new hires and a four day recurrent for all the other pilots. The management needs to evaluate themselves, instead of the pilots who are making all the money for the company.Fly alot more Sushi

sushi flying

I may be interested in flying sushi. I am very qualified. I would also like to see g-force hired so we can teach him how to fly for a living and actually keep a job. By the time I am done with him he will be able to fly across the atlantic just like I did in may 1927. Then he should not be harrassed on here so much and he will have better things to talk about.

sorry about the multiple posts. my computer isn't as smart as I am.

Good training equals safe pilots.

Safety is very important and it should not be compermised at any cost.

More hiring with less qualified personal

Jet Linx Aviation are hiring pilots on a daily basis and are having a hard time keeping qualified pilots or maintenance personal.I feel there are serious safety issues that should be addressed by the proper people in charge of that operation.

Training & duty times

If they are using computer based training. There should be duty times assigned until the completion of the course. Most pilots working on training programs during their assigned rest periods in motels. This could create duty issue problems for crews if done correctly. Most training programs have a log in and log off time so this would be easy to check.

Company required training

All company required training is considered duty time, beause it is required by your operator. This is a way for your 134.5 bottom feeder company to save money and time on the training of their pilots.

The Trashman is back !

Most 135 operators are bottom feeders and Jet Linx Aviation is no exception to the rule. They use computer based training to save money on the cost of training pilots properly. This is what all bottom feeders do in the charter world and have no problem with the lousy training that could affect the reputation of the companys future. That is one major reason that most of their past employees have made numerous true statements on the website. If they would stop all the 134.5 activities, maybe the reputation would be a little better.Line guys rules!

How many aviation companys can you get hired with flight instructor experience. They are a great place to fly with the largest Mitsubishi Diamond fleet in the country. If you enjoy flying almost everyday of your life with five days off a month. The pay for first officers is thirty-five thousand and captains are fifty thousand a year.I think it is a great place to start your aviation training, but what do I know about a flying career.

blah blah blah

How long is this going to go on? It's the same people talking the same sh!t about the same sh!t. I'll bet 75% of the post on this thread are from former employees. This company has been operating the same for atleast 3 years. For those of you who worked here did you move on to a better job? I'll bet you did. Would you have got your current job without working at jet linx?, Maybe-maybe not. Shut up biaches, and realize jet linx is a stepping stone. The same stepping stone that you used to get a better job.

When I crossed over the atlantic ocean in 1927.I had the best pilots skills that anyone has ever had in the world.I think no one will ever be up to my standard or even come close to having my pilot skills.
Amatures need not apply!

You're a ********************ing idiot.

More captains have quit.

What seems to the problem at Jet Linx Aviation in Omaha Nebraska.More qualified captains have left that 134.5 bottom feeder company in the last month and one of the pilots could only put up with the bad treatment for a few months. The management does not know how to fix the problem and before to long they will not have a company left to run. Most of the customers are getting scared with the exit of all the pilots.
