Hey now you are gonna piss me off!!! Just kidding... Triumph provides the quality and price that is right for me. Not a big fan of the Japanese stuff. Not that it is bad but it seems eveyone has one. Harley makes you survive some kind of ritualistic beating before you are allowed to purchase one. I'm no fighter... BTW how come you harley pukes never wave? Are you too good or something?

Triumph bikes are nice, and I wave, even to Honda's. I don't diss another
guys ride ever, that would be rude, kinda like taking someones retirements away from him, but I could not resist this opportunity, for obvious reasons.

I have had my fun raining on your parade.

Later, ride safe.

Maybe it will stand but it will never be implemented. "Time to move on"?
Ummm, don't think that is happening is it? 500 pilots showing up at Herndon the other day, not looking good for just moving on. Pretty representative of some east resolve I would say.

It will stand and it will be implemented. Prater has misled you into thinking otherwise.

There were 400 US pilots in Herdon, but some of you easties seem to exaggerate a little.

East resolve or not, BINDING arbitration is um.....BINDING. Game over, time to move on.

You break into a guys house and protest that he is a sleaze bag pushing you around? Gimme a break

Kind of like when you refuse to negotiate then agree to binding arbitration and when the results are not what you wanted you want to negotiate?? Gimme a break...

What on the earth are you talking about? Unless you're one buff geezer I think you'd have trouble pushing around a 6'3" 220lb young dude. Me thinks you need some serious mental help.

HA HA HA HA HA HA! This coming from someone who has a kitty kat as his avatar!

If they try and do anything then the West owns ALPA.

HAAAaaaa!!!...excuse me while I wipe the coffee off of my monitor. I thought you were referring to the HP pilots "owning" somthing...

Yeah they're historically real hard nosed guys...have owned management in all of their contract negotiations...

Prater is in stall mode, if he drops the big one like Truman on AAA pilots now they will try to ditch ALPA and force his hand to take control of the union which I believe nobody would want to do. Just delay and ask the kids to talk to come to an agreement and get back in late June when the wound might have a scab on it. Both sides will not give and ALPA will have to eventually state what it has to say, Binding is Binding and the rules were followed and your view of windfall is not our view of windfall, but the only view that matters has spoken(Arbitrator).
Mob mentality can not force a decision to be reversed or else the entire legal system would turn into organized crime. Meanwhile the East has walked away from the JNC table and has started the recall game to get the true cause of your arbitration failure. Class action lawsuits, politician resolutions and other forms of the grieving process will follow, but the list will stand, they have always seen reactions like these before, but they have also never been touched. Take the emotion out of your posts and the end game might start to evolve, it's a buisness. Time to enjoy the weekend, peace out!

At most the integration might be tweaked a little. Both sides agree to slightly higher fences and maybe a 3/1 bid on wide bodied flying for a few years. This will be done just to create the impression that the east has won something. ALPA national will not void an arbitrators decision when both sides agreed to binding arbitration. At the end of the day the east will go along with the integration and move on. They didn't take draconian concessions and loss of their pensions just to lose it all over a ratio list integration.

I wouldn't be so sure.

ALPA National is feeling A LOT of heat these days being portrayed as a powerless/outdated entity (with the overwhelming evidence that back up those accusations).

Wouldn't surprise me one bit if this is the fight they decide to sink their teeth into.

Especially when it comes to AWA...the perceived red headed step child of the airline industry. Visions of Doug doing a carpet dance on Capital Hill come to mind...

Malarky.

If this arbitrators decision could be made "optional", then arbitration would be rendered pointless.

The game is over, the losers are crying foul because they lost. Binding arbitration is binding. AWA could just as easily dump ALPA and then sue them too.

It won't happen. Prater will say he tried, but that legally he's nutless on this issue.

It'll be a relief to watch the crying child leave though. Not because I hate U guys, it's just its irritating to watch grown men throw temper tantrums when they don't get the toy (seniority) they wanted after mommy (Nicolau) has taken them out of the store.

The rest of us shoppers aren't affected by the angry child then.

And just how is the "crying child" going to leave?

Won't East and West pilots share the cockpit for years no matter what happens?

That aint gonna be a purdy picture no matter how you cut it...no sireee bobareeno...

Probably not. The only folks willing to voluntarily jump into the lions den in pursuit of an upgrade most likely know what they are getting themselves into and will behave themselves. A forced move (which is not an AWA tradition) could make the mix more volatile, but I think more people will simply take the opportunity closest to home (at least for the first few years) in essence building a voluntary fence.

(THANK GOOD GOOD) I don't have a dog in this fight, but you have to wonder what the Cactus guys' position would have been had this outcome gone the other way?! Would they have just rolled over (most likely hpilot), and just said, well, its an arbitrators decision, or put up a fight like the east?!

Quite glad we never became part of Parker's cluster *^#&!

The only reason the ruling appears to have gone the "west way" is because the east was so far out of bounds and unyielding from the get go. That is just this numbnut's opinion, thats all.

No, there will be no negotiating, just demands made and ultimatums now.
"Sonny?" Real cute, considering I am an old geezer out east.

If we rot out east, so will you, remember where the revenue comes from.
We can't get hurt any worse than we are already by this lopsided award and we intend to fix it. Maybe we will get hurt maybe not, kinda keeps you up
at night huh? What a dancing partner you have.

Hey "Old Geezer". Did you forget to take your dementia meds this morning?

Pilots will (and for the most part HAVE) come to work as professionals. SCAB Captains at CAL have survived (so has CAL), so yes some animosity in 5 years when junior U guys actually might fly with an AWA captain would go the same route as every other merger conflict.

They could cause a cockpit problem and risk their jobs I suppose, but that would be the extreme minority.

Besides, their anger should be at the arbitrator who didn't see things their way and not with the other pilots who did not make the decision. They will be blaming other pilots for the arbitrator's decision.

They would've been in the same position as the U guys..........unhappy with the decision, but helpless to change it.

They could threaten to oust ALPA, but that won't change it. Prater can't change it. The two sides will meet, disagree and ALPA cannot do a damn thing about it.

Maybe the U guys could ask for a dues increase from all members to offset perceived pay loss ?

You really believe your garbage don't you? Wrong on every point. Your not benefiting from east retirements in this so called award? Really? Who is paying the price for those? I submit east pilots stapled below you. Your own CEO never undergirded your delusion that you saved us, never. Now your rabid with entitlement. You got lucky with some lunatic who ratified your
greed inside a framework that should work for everybody and a whole lot of
pilots out east are really p-ssed. Apparently 14-1(awa) national ilk know
that their flight pay loss might be in jeopardy if they don't right this wrong.

This list will NEVER stand and is not worth the paper it is printed on, so like I said before, don't go buying that captains house. Take S_itsall to the park
and throw frisbee with him or something else.

For arguements sake even if you saved us and you did not, do we owe you?
You wanna get paid. You where hanging on to a thread also, a training camp for Southwest, and a scab operation down under, so the hell with you also.

Never mind the meds... too late for that. I suggest you seek professional help
Anger management specialist maybe?? Oh,and bring some of your US East buds with you,OK?

For ALPA to overturn this would be the end of ALPA. In every other business arena (including the airlines) when you agree to binding arbitration, you have NO recourse. IF this were overturned, the lawsuit from the HP pilots would financially ruin ALPA. (rightfully so)

Entitled to our east retirements. We brought that to this party.
You don't believe you saved us yet you intimate in your post we would not have the chance to come back unless AWA got involved. East furloughed should benefit from east retirements out east. Conditions and restrictions, fences. My personal business is just that personal. Yes I am furloughed, and yes I have bypassed recall. Probably will never come back, but have my convictions and principles and am quite bored at the moment on a long dull layover.

By the way, get a real scoot, ride a Harley.

Yet another one that "bypassed recall" so they could "probably never come back." Jeez,I wish you "ladies" would make up your minds already What little that might be left of them ......

That's right 737Plt when you're as big as me you don't need to compensate. Unlike someone we all know:rolleyes: .

Hey,make sure you talk nice about Billy's "girlfriend " General Lee, now. OK?

PHXFLYR:cool:

I suggested this back in the UAL/AAA merger fiasco days then again during the MDA/Republic deal and I'll say it again now. Yes boys and girls its time for a GIANT STEEL CAGE MATCH.

First we pick a neutral are between East (coast) and West(PHX), say MEM (the FDX guys could preside over it). Then we build a giant steel cage and put everyone on the list (AAA/AWA) inside.

First guy to go down gets the last place on the list - Last guy standing gets sen#1. Everyone else gets placed in order they get knocked out. Sound good?? Maybe even sell tickets and carry it HBO PPV so we could make some $$$.

5 posts in 25 minutes and you have yet to say anything more
intelligent than a third grader. Still an impulsive spaz, huh?
The chicks must really dig you.

Yes they do...including your girlfriend !!!!!:D

Oh boy Capt. Cornball, you really got me with that one, quick on the comebacks, very witty. I can hear you giggling with excitement now....Tell me, do you find your crew always ditches you on a layover?
Hmmmm, I wonder?
