You got an AMEN on that brother! The CNC guys are doing a job that you couldn't pay me enough to do. Why not give them a little respect?

Funny thing is that the "Fab 4" seem to have had much more of the big picture than people originally gave them credit for. SCOPE was their biggest issue- something very important to the pilot group that isn't being adequately addressed by the reps we have running things now. At least they (fab 4) said they'd have a T/A out there for the pilot group to vote on.
With the current group, we have a handful that want this to happen, and the others upped the 50 seat rate to something rediculous that puts us ahead of SkyWest- Gee, I wonder how that is gonna work out for us??? Funny thing is I don't even need a consultant to deduct the outcome for that........
Their (JB & LJ)personal interests were their biggest issue. They'd have caved on the rest of the contract and sold out the rest of the pilot group for it.
Is this a survey that you conducted yourself, of ALL the ASA pilots. Or is this just some bullshet you made up and wrote on here to impress yourself?
As I look back at all the posts I realize that ASARJMAN slices and dices every post that does not suck up to the current ALPA gang. I like the current officers but not to the extent of ASARJMAN. He is the Karl Rove of the ASA MEC. Must we always march in step with our leaders? Are self reflection and individual opinions not a cornerstone of our great Nation?
The only thing that the Fab 4 would have had out to vote on was the company's last table position. If you truly think that would be in the best interest of our pilot group then I'm sorry to say I disagree strongly.
WF is saying on the ALPA board that an MEC member admitted the current table position would pass as a TA by at least 60%.
Isn't the MEC's job to please the majority?
John,
I was there with Will. This MEC member also said that most pilots are "stupid", and that he knew what was better for them. I was pretty shocked that a voting member of the MEC would say that in public.

You two, or is it three, four, are real pieces of work!
Perhaps you're taking it out of context what he actually said John, that possible? Surely you wouldn't just use that part to your advantage or to slam the MEC/CNC would you John? Perhaps he meant most pilots don't educate theirselves about the issues, which is true.

I rest my case.
I wasn't aware a survey of ALL ASA pilots existed. In fact, according to the CNC chairman, he was "advised against one". I wonder why...
That's real cute. I'm really beginning to wonder why I backed the Utley coalition. While I have the utmost respect for Danny, it seems he surrounded himself with some real winners.
If that's truly how the MEC feels, then we're in big trouble as a pilot group. Glad they "know what's best for us"... like holding out for two more years for COLA while we recieve no COLA raises in the meantime. Duh!

Oh I get it, the old, "attack his credibility" line. Yea, JB is the ONLY person who ever quotes out of context, right? Or tries to put a spin on the words. Like you just did.
JB, who else was there to coorborate your story? What else was said?

Your right about Danny, he does "get it". It is the other 3 that worry me. I'm actually kind of surprised he ran with those 3. He thinks more like the "LJ/ASA Coalition" than he does with the coalition he ran with.

Are you speaking now in the 3rd person?
Mike you have completely fallen off the wagon. I refuse to respond to someone who argues with himself. Clearly we touched a nerve. Are you capable of holding an intelligent conversation about the issue at hand or just frantically attempting to undermine the credibility of those intelligent enough to discuss the situation factually? As I said, on your other inane post, if you think I'm WF, so be it. I really couldn't care less what you or anyone else think of "Who is John Pennekamp". But if you think you can prove your accusations go ahead. At least you'll have something interesting to add.
Now if you're willing and able to contribute anything of substance to this discussion, go ahead. If not, then kindly sit on the sidelines and browse.
I can explain how to use the ignore feature if you aren't interest in my comments. Good day!
Who's nerve got touched????????
Hey, I have an idea... let's see how many Flightinfo members we can accuse of being Will Faruzzi or John Breiling or some other union rep. That would be fun. Glad I'm so popular that everyone spends so much time talking about me, lol.
You all know I don't post here often. If I have something to say, I say it with my name at the end and stand behind it.
I was there yesterday, and the MEC member in question said exactly what John B said he did. W. Dowden was also there. Regarding the question about the 60%, and the pilots being too stupid, SH also said he learned that from me. I explained to him that I did in fact once feel that way, and that I was wrong. It's very easy to wear blinders when you hold ALPA office. You get sucked up into the emotion and don't really look at the other side of the issues. Unfortunately, I failed to realize that when I was there.
I held a dissenting opinion often but, in the end, I always spoke the party line for the purpose of "group unity". It's nice to be able to publicly speak my mind now.
If you want to know what I think, read the ALPA board, call me, or email me. Personally, I think the games played on this web site are petty and childish, which is why I rarely participate, but often lurk. But if need be, I will set the record straight.
W. Faruzzi
How many different screen names do you have?
IFlyForFood=John Pennekamp=You
Nice try, though!
