You show me a guy willing to leave a GIV or Falcon900 job for a job at Pinnical, and I will personally come kick is arse.I don't necessarily think the candidate has to have CRJ time.. I don't think a CRJ is any harder or more complex as a GIV or Falcon 900. But you are correct, the candidate should have pic jet time..

I want you to do me a favor.... I want you to hit me as hard as you can.
Street Captains are fine as long as they are properly qualified. We've hired some highly experienced street Captains in the past (frequent poster Lear70 was one of them), but we've also hired guys that have no business being in the left seat of a CRJ. For instance, in the last round of street Captains, we hired one guy whose only turbine time was in Metroliners. Sorry, but if you have zero jet time, then you don't belong in the left seat of a CRJ.
WOW! Would you please publish your wisdom on 9E hiring 200 hr fo's....I'd like to hear if you...opps they have any buisness being in the right seat
If I didn't say it before..Congrats to you for the move! I thought you were going to hold out for something purple (haha)! Hey, I start class on the 23rd of April for a DTW slot, but I will keep the MEM bid in until it opens. If you talk to Joe...send a Hello. I tried to call him but no answer. He must have been screning calls.I'm in NYC on the doggy. IOE starts next week.
I'll move down to ATL once I become a career reserve pilot on the 76/75 this summer, haha.
Thanks for the kudos. There were a lot of guys who had a LOT of PIC time in some pretty big stuff in our class (everything from Falcons to 747's). It was a self-taught firehose, but it wasn't impossible.Street Captains are fine as long as they are properly qualified. Spoken like a true PCL F/O who thinks they should upgrade NOW...id rather have a guy in the left seat with 2500 tt and 1500 hours CRJ
than a guy with 4000 hours and 1000 hours turboprob PIC.
When we pay the BNA Airport Authority the $250,000 in runway damage, early lease cancellations, and penalties we owe them from 2001.Hey L70,
Didn't check my voicemails until about 10 pm last night. Been burnin' the midnite oil getting ready for this oral on Tues. Hope all is well. Sux about the drive you had yesterday. When is AirTran gonna start BNA-ATL?
p.s. PCL, when are you putting your stuff in at the Tranny?
