The E-120's handling is absolutely nothing like the King Air family with respect to "ease".

You got a point there...

I could teach my mama to fly a King Aire. But the Brakilia - we used to call it the 300-knot nautilus machine.

I've never seen a plane with a yaw damper that required more rudder input/rudder trim. The systems are a nightmare - that abortion of a flap controller used to fail on final about once every two months. And we had two fatal "one in a million" prop failures while I was there - ask 14RF9.....

Bottom line - she was overpowered and fast, but I never could believe she got certified in the states, not with all that yaw.....

You seem to be representing quite well all by yourself Russian.

Baja.

Don't get mad. Get Glad.

Seriously, don't come on here trying to "woop" on me and expect me to just take it. Everyone likes to make me look like the azzhole on this website just because I usually (not always, I am human) make good points. What gives? You guys come out with guns blazing and no aim. Then, you say crap like "Russian is such a moron" and "Russian is so ignorant". Thanks for the flame.

"Before you accuse me, take a look at yourself. "

That goes for all you flamers!

Well said, Huck.

Oh i can't wait for Avbug to see this!!!!!!!! I am going to the store to get beer and popcorn!!!!!

Ok...here's my recipe for the Mother of all Lame threads:

The Russian landing a jetBlue A380 on a treadmill with nitrogen in her tires and a PFT GoJets guy in the right seat.

What'd I win?

I don't know what you win, but you have me believing in the theroy that shooting beer out your nose while laughing burns!!!!!!!

I predict a what is the deal with Baja thread appearing shortly in which we will again debate the benefits of nitrogen.
No, Baja isn't a consistant butt monkey. He/she is usually a pretty cool cat. And, I actually happen to like him.

Ahhhhh....Now I feel bad for my above reply. Oh well. Nuf' said. You are good for a few laughs as well Russian. I have very fond memories of Moscow in 85'. The good old days......Time for some Vodka. Peace out all!

Baja.

Go land an A380 on MS Flight Sim and then critique the crew.........

Wow. That coming from a friend? Ouch. I am going to sleep on this and post a response tomorrow after I have cooled off.

At this time, I would like to make a public request that you have that post deleted by a mod. You are my friend. Please do not make me defend myself on a public message board. No joke made by anyone deserves that type of defamation of character.

My response to Becky making fun of me for working the line was alittle harsh! I shouldn't have knocked on her career path, or back ground. So I will send a moderator a PM so the response can be deleted.

However WHORE is something our group of friends calls eachother on a regular basis and it was meant in that context.

All of my landings are the picture of perfection so I don't know what landings like that are like or why they happen.

I think it's a combination of my spikey hair which aids in ILS reception, my ergonomically correct backpack ensures my shoulders are never tense, and listening to my iPod which truly relaxes me on short final.

The A319 was by far the best airplane I've ever flown (including MD11, CRJ and D328J). It had the most comfortable, automated, quiet, ergonomic, spacious cockpit.

Although I feel bad saying anything about my baby (the 757), the A320 was MUCH quieter, a lot more roomy and you just can't beat the tray table. I like the way the 757 flies better though.
