I believe there are as many pilots, (of any kind) flying for Compass Airlines, as pilots flying at DrewBlows Airlines. Kind of makes your question moot. (Notice proper use of the word "moot.")

I think you are spot on. Compass and Mesaba will be sold within a couple of years to generate $$. That plan hasn't been a very well-kept secret.

There are probably a couple of things that could scuttle that plan, but I think you're prediction is accurate.

The Compass agreement is a mainline agreement. That flying could have been given to Mesaba and Pinnacle if ALPA really cared about "brand scope". However since "brand scope" is nothing but lip service, we now have Compass....
