Heard he broke some windshields, ran from the cops, and hid in a cornfield surrounded by the cops. Anyone know more?

He obviously seen his final schedule for december and thought jail would be a better alternative. At least he will be rested, fed 3 squares a day and if he is a trustee he will get a job that pays him an hourly wage. He may make more in jail than ASA.

If this is true hope it was worth it.

FO has been w the company since 2004.
It looks like the pulled a new FO from the overnight scheduled on a later flight.
Then they took a reserve FO to fill the last FO's slot.
Confusing huh.

Went out of GRR this morning. Didn't see anything going on. I did see an ASA CRJ sitting on the ramp cold at 6am, don't know when it's supposed to leave, but everyone else was happily working. Can't wait to hear the flightinfo story on how this happened. Getting my popcorn ready.

I think he has a solid defense. I heard that GRR overnight was the inspiration behind "The Shining". The longest winter I ever spent was an 18 hour overnight there.

Come on wif it bouyz.... out wif da story... what happened? no names needed, just da juicy stuff... We'll hear da names in da crew lounge soon enough... Bouyyyyyyyyyyyyy....

Can they do that? I'd tell them to call back in about five or six hours and kiss my fat ass in the mean time.

Yes, they can do that. If you answer your phone and you are legal you have no choice.

This is all a misunderstanding. There were no hotel rooms under $40 left in the area so we asked him if he wouldn't mind sleeping in the county jail. He agreed under the condition that we wouldn't integrate him on New Year's day.

Well, I think that's a little FUBAR, because, lets say you had some computing to do, and you went to bed at 1am thinking your sign-in is at 4pm? Now they try to grab you at 8am? I'll be fatigued fo that one. Sorry you GO hosers.

Unless you are on probation. You would suddenly find yourself "off" probation.

I miss the Cantina. Cheap Coors Light pitchers and always a few rounders to try the "I'm a pilot" line with. I feel for the old boy, but bid for the late shows.
