Gotta get an interview and find out the pay scale. (Nothing personal to those who have posted the info they have on the pay.) TC

P.S.--Oh yeah, have to get hired in one of the first few classes, too.

what is the stigma over it? Seems like a lot of guys are avoiding it from what I'm reading.

I heard from a checkairman at CAE that we lost a junior FO to them.

Street captain at 90K.

I haven't heard they started hiring the lower time, no pic in type guy's yet but maybe they have. I have a feeling the flood gates are about to open at that place. I know we have a lot of guy's waiting for the call here.

I don't know what the guy's quals were, but would guess he had some experience to be hired early (or knew someone:0)

I was hired by VA. Start training in Dec. Capt Pay 95hr 70hour guarantee. Looks like it's going to be a fun place to work unlike where I have been for the last 20 years.

Ahhhhh yes and the further erosion of our pay and benefits continues.

I assume that you are leaving UAL or USAir. With 20 years you should be able to hold the 400 or 777 captain at UA, VA must be one hell of a place. If your leaving the latter then I'd be curious how it plays out for you, good luck (sincerely).

says he's an A320 FO now, so I'm assuming it wasn't UAL.

Actually, you have to wait and see the fare structure. The cost of the pilot is virtually nothing on the ticket.

Balderdash! We all know the reason this industry is in turmoil is that pilots are way over paid!

Man, $95/hr. even at 80 hours is a couple grand a month shy for me. Oh well... TC

Flood gates? Who is gonna want to fly the left seat of a 320 for $95hr????? I thought rates here at NWA were the worst ,but $95hr 320CA is shameful. Blanket party for anyone taking that crap...

Why ? so i can be sloted into the sen list with 3 yr AWA F/O and never upgrade .I would rather leave and work for Branson then remain at UAir

Emotional decision and all yours to make. Branson is a kok sucker. U think he pays his Virgin Atlantic Captains $95. He can stick it up his rear end!!!!!!!!!!!
