Whew....I wasn't sure I was able to stoop to the level of your intelligence and maturity....even with me having less flight time than you, it was still very difficult and I don't know if I could make it that low again
 
You have to love the irony that he is banned for calling folks a s----, when the folks he talks about are not old enough to have been alive during the last airline strike.

Wow, I knew there was a "pilot shortage" and all but when did the airlines get desperate enough to hire 7 year olds?

I corrected your inaccurate statement.

There are a lot of good people at Air Wis, you obviously were not in this category. I'm surprised they didn't teach you more about subjects like PFT and Go Jets, seems you missed their history lessons. I guess you accept mediocrity instead of trying to better the profession.
 
There were no history lessons to be missed....the folks there are great....they just aren't a bunch of preachy whiners who feel the need to impress their knowledge upon me

I was not affected by PCL_128s career decisions.

You wanna talk about lowering the bar? Then take a look at Virgin America, Skybus, and GoJets. At least one of them is already gone.....

You wanna talk about lowering the bar? Then take a look at Virgin America, Skybus, and GoJets. At least one of them is already gone.....

Well, at least we can agree on VA, Skybus and Go Jets. But PFT hurt a lot of pilots in the 90's, how is that not lowering the bar? Just because it did not hurt YOU directly does not mean it didn't hurt your career. It's the whole attitude of selling out.

This isn't a smug 'me' attitude, I'm merely stating a fact: I was unaffected by PCL_128's decisions.

But PFT hurt a lot of pilots in the 90's, how is that not lowering the bar?

That's a whole different argument for a whole different thread. Plenty of things have been lowering the bar. PFT is maybe but 1%. The courts have been lowering the bar. They have been stopping employee groups from striking/work action, while management cuts contracts and pay.
 
Airline pilots are professionals, right? What other professionals would you equate yourselves to?
