Same way I felt when I learned details of the flick. I was hoping it was going to be great, and make us look good. Hopefully I'm wrong and it still turns out good.

Zemeckis owns a nice IFR C182 so I was hoping for a little more reality, previews look disappointing though. Best "pilot" movie ever, "The Pilot" with Cliff Robertson.

That's a flashback to sitting in a crashpad in Maryland, drinking heavily and watching "The Pilot" in a uniforms.

Ahhhh...the good old days.

I saw the movie today. Totally sucked.

Its hard to imagine any pilot is going to like this movie. Especially the first 20 minutes. Actually its hard for me to believe anyone would like this film.

This movie has almost nothing to do with flying its about an alcoholic. Spoiler alert there is a smoking hot naked chick in the first scene. Full frontal and good hiney shots. The movie could have just as easily been about a doctor or a policeman but I guess they were going for the impact of an alcoholic airline pilot .

For added realism, they should have had him voting Republican then complaining about why his union has no power.

Yeah, the title is a little misleading. The movie has much more to do with alcoholism and substance abuse than "flight".
