Funny, cause the ones I remember look just like the seats from a SA-227 except the seat recline.....ohhh big thrill. No seat cushion to remove because it is sewn in. Bu then again I am no expert on RJs like you paid4training.

Because they look the same to a laymen doesn't mean squat. The seat cushions are removable, as are the cushion covers. You see, there's this stuff called "velcro" that does all this neat stuff. And the cushions on the 145XR's are thicker than the standard cushions too.

The seats, and all component items, on the Embraers are made by a company in California called C & D Interiors.

Ok now that I have a made a jacka$$ out of my self I can stil admit I am wrong. But my orginal point was....the RJ still suck worse than mainline

None of the seats in coach are worth a damn. At least in the RJs you can't have fat people splashing you from both sides. Economy plus on united is not bad, but standard united economy still sucks.

Back to the original question...... Is Coex sending planes to Mexico sans pilots???

This thread is still going on?? Has anyone even confirmed that there is an ounce of truth to this thread or do you guys just have enough sense not to post information that might be best kept internal (not that that's really possible).

First of all, real classy posting what someone said blah blah blah. Go sell crazy someplace else....

And even though it may be true this is a good ting for us at XJT. Why bother trying to place the aircraft in the US with the cut-throat 50 seat market. We can/may have found a way to generate revenue with the airframes out side of the US. This will result in NO furloughs, and the rest of the aircraft, the XR's, are a much more marketable tool. We'll be just fine, but thanks for your concern. Now eveyone else go back to your btoom feeding and dooming and glooming.

lose 25 airplanes and no furlough?

Rumor has it that the flying is going to be done by RAH pilots at 35 seat rates to bad for you !!!

Hey man, don"t let anything get in your way ...like facts!!
I can totally understand frustration in losing flying that had previously been awarded to you. But, get off of your high horse. You would have worked for RAH in a second if they were the first ones to call you. Just the same I would have worked for XJT in a second if they had called. We are all the same here guys, to differentiate yourself for purposes of making yourself feel better than someone else is the regional airline/contract carrier mentality that I cannot wait to leave in my rear view mirror.

I can't speak for everyone, and that may be the case for some people. But also there are those, like myself, who researched and chose an airline. Check for a file or resume on me at CHQ...you won't find it.

Not exactly, we (pilots not at chq or mesa) decided we would work for a comany that had ok pay and good work rules not like the 2 bottom feeders that get flying because their pilots took sh!tty contracts with low pay and crap work rules. And it would be hard for us to take jobs at those companys because we knew better than to apply there. for those that did apply there then went somewhere esle thats a different story. I think some realize to study a company before applying I did and never applied at those 2 for the fact that they are the airlines you go to when no one else wants you.

What??!! That is a statement laced with so much ignorance, I don't quite know what to make of it.

Here's a class of 12 people graduating from All ATP's. 3 went off to CHQ, 3 to XJT, 3 to ASA, and 3 to Comair. All 12 with apps in at all of them. Does one pilot now become more desirable than another? Absurdity. This is all sheer ego. No pilot's at XJT have any problem getting employment at the various folks hiring. The same applies for CHQ folks. I think we have lost around 30 guys to SWA so far just this year. Not to mention FedEx, UPS, Jet Blue, Numerous CAL ( just like you guys), Emirates, Cathy Pacific, DHL, blah blah blah. C'mon and recant such an ignorant statement. You are making the vast majority of stand up guys at XJT look bad.

If you look at the bottom of the barrel you have MESA and TSA, all incarnations of the 2 parents. So don't lump RAH into that same group. There is a positive quality that RAH has over those 2. Also if XJT is really sending planes to Mexico sans pilots, then there is alot of people on reserve

Yeah, I thought about 6 mos ago, we had a guy get on the panel, don't know where he's at now. Thanks for keeping me honest!

I don't really give a shiet about the main theme of the thread, I just think that Superpilot92's avatar subject is HOT! Where is the link to the original picture? I need a new wallpaper for the laptop.

I believe she is either SagWoman or Scopebuster Woman. Either way she is not the same. It is quite possibly the most attractive FA I have seen in quite a long time.
