I've spotted many walking around the airports...but the most amusing I can think of?

That weird guy on TV infomercials who wears the suit coat that has question marks all over it...you know...the one who's like "The government is GIVING money away!!!"...Saw him in Albany, NY once, wearing his suit coat of course. That's probably the most random of all of them! Also saw Ron Jeremy walking around CLE and it was funny to see all the pilots walking by going, "Hey Ron!"

Celebs I've flown:

-Roger Clemens (CLE-LEX)
-Martina Navratilova (ALB-BOS)

Saw Ron Jeremy coming back from MIA in coach on AA.
He was putting his luggage just FWD of mine(no more space back where was seated) and I said
"RON! Shouldn't you be riding in a Gulfstream?"
He was all harried & sweaty-looking, said
"At least in first Class!"

Never got to fly with any celebs, being a freight dawg. But I've had some close encounters.

Met Jimmy Buffett in the lobby of MillionAir KLUK. Cool dude, brought in his Citation for a concert.

Also briefly met Jeff Foxworthy in the vending room of MillionAir KLUK. He was doing his best to destroy the popcorn machine.

Saw Tipper Gore through the windows of the FBO as she was getting off a Gulfstream at KLUK.

Saw Ted Nugent through the windows of the FBO at KLUK, he dove out of the back of a trashed light blue Baron and into the back of an SUV. He was late for a concert.

Got chased by John Kerry's motorcade in '04 at CMH as I was driving to work.

Briefly hung out with a Cleveland Indians player in the FBO at KCLE one night, can't remember his name, but he'd just been traded to another team and was waiting for a Netjets plane to pick him up (he actually went to the wrong FBO and missed his flight).

Motley Crue was in KCLE for a show one night, they had a chartered 727. Their tour bus was parked in front of my Baron, made me late (hey, gotta get this refrigerated pee to Detroit on time!)

In the Comair terminal of KCVG I saw Dwayne "Dog" Chapman and his wife sitting in the terminal. WOW is that guy SHORT! This was before the whole recorded phone call catastrophe.

Working the ramp at KBKL I ran into:

Bill Cowher (coach of the Steelers) as he got off a Citation.

Archbishop Desmond Tutu as he was getting into a Citation. Little dude in a purple priest's suit.

Numerous basketball and baseball teams.

Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden - really cool guy, he'd hang out with us at the FBO and kept raiding the vending machine. Had a tricked out C421 and was getting new radios put in it by our avionics shop. The night before he left, the other line guy on our shift (2nd) asked him if he'd autograph a CD for him. Bruce took the CD and said he'd do one better, and get the rest of the band to sign it too. The next afternoon we came to work and there were two boxes left for us, each had a copy of "Brave New World" autographed by the whole band and personalized to us.

The Offspring - Delivered a tray of sammiches to them in the back of a King Air (the singer was the pilot). They were pretty cool, but their manager was a rampaging a-hole.

John Travolta - He came down the stairs of a Gulfstream and ducked into the back of a black SUV. I didn't recognize him due to a ballcap and sunglasses, and had no idea who he was until he said hi and asked me to top off the jet and I recognized the voice. Didn't dawn on me who he was until he was gone.

Eric Bischoff (former pres of WCW wrestling) - Had a C210, was in town for the Monday night show (I was there sitting 2 rows behind the announcer table). I pulled the C210 out of the hangar and saw these two dudes in black WCW polos watching me and drinking coffee. Eric was one of them, the other was one of the wrestlers (stage name was Kanyon). I also ran into Doug Dillinger, the head WCW security dude in the FBO lobby.

George Gund III - Used to be owner of the San Jose Sharks (maybe still is), I frequently had to service his DA-900 and bring rental cars to him. He had quite the extensive collection of Swedish bondage porn in his stateroom on the 900. Very wierd guy, he'd come down the airstairs either in a suit and trenchcoat or pajama pants and fuzzy slippers.

Dick Jacobs - Used to be owner of the Cleveland Indians. I frequently serviced his jet and took care of his Beemer. Every Christmas he'd give mall gift cards to all of us line guys. Seemed an ok guy but he never talked much.
