I'm glad you can back me up, Torch. Some people think names like that must be made up they're literally sooo down to earth--Brownfield and Levelland. :erm: My husband had UPT at Reese and was chosen to be a T38 FAIP (first assignment instructor pilot) there. He told me it was a good location for students because they could always fly IFR back to the base.

But what is Little Vegas? The liquor store strip outside of LBB?

I had to do a flight to Brownfield last month for a funeral. I had a good laugh over the identifier, BFE, but that is about it. Nothing much to see in that town. I will third or fourth the vote for Odessa though. Ya gotta love Millionaire HOU! I'm from Texas so I'm a little biased
