World used to commercial me around quite a bit on CAL (CAL in Asia = China Air Lines.) Nothing says "livin' the dream" like spending 11 hrs in the middle seat of a fully loaded 747-400 while suddenly realizing you're the only one not wearing a SARS mask. Three times in one month.

The FA's were exceptional, however.:pimp:

Chinese are probably saying "see, that's what we get when we buy these cheap goods from the U.S."

Probably more like " what you mean..four day past mx inspection....I don't care...you fly plane now..or you fired"

"This incident is the latest in a series of accidents involving China Airlines. Jetliners for the air carrier crashed in 2002, 1999, 1998 and 1994, killing more than 1,000 people."

Who has lost more hulls in the last decade, Fedex or China Airlines?

FedEx has, by far! I don't understand how that can be so. They hire such superior aviators with such skill, they can land any aircraft on the head of a pin... They forgot to inform them that the pin is 3/4 down the runway.
