Why is helicopter time ingored?

Any idea if DAL will count it this time , when they start hiring again?

They will "whack" that time right out of your logbook. I have found that corporate flight departments will count it on the most part. When I applied to the airline, they discounted the time, but allowed it to meet their minimum PIC requirements. I guess every airline is different.

Lots of good discussion here. The bottom line is if the company you want to go to work for doesn't count your helo time get busy doing what it takes to become competitive there or go and apply somewhere that counts helo time.
