umm, you mean morons because they are in the top 300 at UAL plus they are 747 or 777 capts and have been Capt since the late 80's.

Yeah, those guys with NO A plan or B plan. The same guys that make less money then a 737 Captain at Southwest, even though they fly the heavy stuff. The same guys downsizing, selling their boats and airplanes.... yeah those guys. It was a nice ride, looks like "they raised a smart kid.....pause....not"
 
YPF I hate to break it to you but we won't be bankrupt by 09. When I was in class we had breakfast with the company leadership. One classmate asked how much cash SWA had. The answer was enough to go 5 yrs without a profit. That would mean we can make it until at least 2010 if we start failing tomorrow.

Now I don't care who you are, thats funny. I'd like to have a few with that classmate at Mr. C's....

Why do people bash swa on this board? The same reason they bash Delta, etc. etc. They are a bunch of jealous AHoles! The inmaturity on this board is amazing! What is more amazing is that it will suck you into doing the same. In closing, SWA is a kick a$$ airline, everyone loves it, most would kill to work there, and they know in their hearts that they would never have a chance (no college, no class etc..) I hope that makes sense, because little here does!

I don't think the is any way to quantify the damage SWA has done to this industry. For instance thousands of vendors have lost their jobs simply because service has been stripped from domestic inflight to compete with SWA. They are the Walmart of aviation. Yes their employee's make good money, but everyone else around has suffered. Look at airport financial records if you don't believe me. When SWA takes over, sales in the airport plummet.
