I hope you guys realize that Cindy Adams is one of the STUPIDEST B!TCHES ON THE FACE OF THE EARTH. She writes ridiculous articles all the time where she name drops to show just how important she think she is. Lady you write in the Post for crying out loud. You know the same paper that ran a headline saying KERRY CHOSES GEPHART FOR VP the day Kerry chose Edwards. In other words she is the stereotypical Manhattanite that the rest of the country hates!

When Gotti died she wrote up a huge article about how he should be remembered as a man of the people and a true hero. Yeah I like The Sopranos as much as anybody, but a mob boss ain't equal with the 9/11 firefighters in my book. I question the liberties taken in writing this article out of account of her pathetic character. I think you will find better news coverage in US WEEKLY then Mudroch's garbage New York paper. About as embarrassing as the tabloids in London.

Get a clue, Dufus. That guy pays your paycheck. You probably sit there in your RJ and wonder why your passengers are in flip-flops and why you don;t have a job at mainline to flow to . . . . .

It's because the people like that man have taken their dollars elsewhere, where people still provide service- to the private jets operators. Why do you think there are so many fractional jet customers now? It's because of stupid crap like this. If they just want a cheap seat, they might as well go to AirTran or SWA. What does American have to offer, if not service!

That gate agent should have been counseled, if not fired, in my opinion. And if you don;t understand why, you're part of the problem, not the solution. This is a people business . . . . period.

That's funny. Not too long ago I was walking through the baggage claim area to get to to my flight and this little old lady approached me and asked where the Baggage service office is for AirTran.

I was not sure myself and I walked with her to my airline's baggage service office and asked the clerk. He told me that AirTran does not have a bag service office but she can go to the ticket counter.

I told the little old lady where the ticket counter was and she replied, "I will never fly for this airline again."" They have lost my bag and no one seems to give me the time of day to try to help me." "Thank you young man and I apologize for taking your time." I did my part to try to gain the confidence of a customer in need and hope to have her business in the future unlike some folks at AirTran.

I guess you get what you pay for. No pun intended.

Here is another great story.................

Security woes have snared another celebrity. The latest victim is Joan Collins, who reportedly erupted in anger Saturday when she was forced to remove her hat, sunglasses, jacket and shoes while preparing to board a Virgin Atlantic flight from London to Los Angeles. "I am the first person to support airline security, but to be singled out and hand searched in front of an entire planeload of passengers is frankly humiliating," Collins was quoted as saying by radio of Chillicothe, Ohio. Witnesses told British tabloid that Collins reacted by throwing a "hissy fit" and asking security officers, "Do you know who I am?" Another eyewitness recounted: "She was upset — but it was funny seeing this big star standing there furious in her bare feet." Heathrow officials expressed "regret" that Collins was upset, but said "there is no reason to believe that the correct procedures were not carried out."
