We're also running a mock bid for A330s to start non stop service to Europe from BLI. Oh... and they're also in talks to bring back the Concord and fly that out of IWA.

Rumors....

They're gonna buy usair and hand them the keys. They'll get rid of all the MD's, close all the Allegiant crew bases and junk their entire business plan. Focus on the lucrative high-yield northeast that's made usair the success it's been the last 20 years.

Actually.... I just heard we bought the rights to the old PSA smile and we'll be putting them on the nose of all our airplanes soon. Although, these smiles will be adjustable and will be able to frown at times.

The ones I operate would frown. Especially with the farts I can do. That thing would make the frown that you see in the instruction manual for your laptop....you know, the one where they show a picture of it when you leave it on the dash board of your car in direct sunlight on a hot day with the windows up.

A330's? Who told you that? I just ate dinner with the CEO's brother's sister's next door neighbors cousins dog sitters uncle and HE said that a large order for A-380's has been made.

I Can Vouch For That

I can personally vouch for Bra's farts. That's no rumor.

That all changed.... That cousins dog sitter has an *in* with the cat sitter who resides with the former CEO of the company that supplies water to....that guy. Anyway, that guy just happened to eat dinner with that lady who lives in the same home as the ferret sitter who gets her leftovers from the man who mows the lawn of that guy. That guy was doing that thing and overheard this guy talking to this lady who said... well... that all changed.

I can verify this as fact....I just read this on Airline Pilot Central as well!

well, I am sorry I started this thread. Not that I care too much, but the crew I heard it from seemed pretty certain about this.

Aw, don't take it personally USA_Av8r. There is no official "advertising" for a Hawai'i base. But remember, rumors run rampant in this business. It might happen, it might not. But I never believe anything until I'm strapped in it and cleared for takeoff. Even then, keep the Comm 2 volume up because ops may be calling you back to the gate.

I hope the rumor is true, Allegiant is a successful company and I know they will do great if they take on Hawaii.

That's classic. Next it will be Alaska. Good ole' US Airways destroying one good airline after another.

Nope, Primaris was bought by an oil company last month. No plans for 757's now.

Primaris being bought by an oil company is also a rumor. Mr. Gallagher did make an offer for Primaris but it was refused. If it was going to happen it would have been a separate airline. Or at least that's what I know.

It didn't happen...that's why I was furloughed.
Hi Lucky,
Can you please expand upon what you just said? Are you saying that Primaris deal with the oil company fell thru and now they are lumbering thru ch 11 bankruptcy? I am just trying to understand what is going on over there. Good luck landing back on your feet!

That's pretty much it...not much to expand on. Small company with some real quality people. Every one is working very hard to turn things around. Sounds like there might be a little light at the end of the tunnel. Hard times in aviation these days for sure. I think with a little funding they would do good work. Keeping my fingers crossed that everyone one will be back to work quickly.

I should note that they did everything possible to keep everyone and did not want to do this. We are still in contact with them, even the owner. All are very supportive and helping any way they can.

If that's true, I'd be interested to see what the plans are. Just heard direct from VP of Ops yesterday that no news or plans for 757s right now. Guess we'll see what the future holds.

There may not be any current plans. All I am saying is that at one point it was considered.

It would be cool if Allegiant was able to get more/different airplanes. They seem to be the only one out there doing well.

Yeah, I have a buddy over at Primaris, haven't talked to him in a year; if he get furloughed, it'd be nice if he came over here.
