Captain: "hey Homer, I have this new flightplan, ICAO or something, and its not right."

Dispatcher: " Everything looks good on our end, what seems to be the problem?

C: " The routing is screwed up. You have us on a fix that doesnt even exsist!"

D: "Oh, what fix is that?"

C: "I dont know, but you have us going to it like 3 or 4 times!!! Are you new at this job?"

D" Ummmm, what are you looking at, sir. I am not following you."

C: "Its right there!!! 'DCT' That VOR will not show up when I imput it in the FMS. And you have us filed YVR DCT SEA DCT PDX. Why do we go back to it twice like that?"

D: "Oh, I see it. That is Direct. As in yvr DIRECT sea DIRECT pdx."

C: "..................................."

D: " Captain, are you still there?"

C: "Oh yeah, uh got it. BYE!"

D: " No problem, and YOU ARE WELCOME"

Yep...and, from what I hear, apparently they're pissing off ATC a little bit. They're pretty spiffy, allow for more direct routings, and tend to confuse the hell out of pilots. :)
