With the current situation in the industry, have they no shame?

No. There's a plaque on the wall in Herndon that reads: "There's a sucker born every day."

As for whether Woerthless uses his full allowance... All I can say is I've done very well in the stock market by owning Grey Goose stock. ;) TC

A320.....everyone needs to make a living. you wouldn't expect them to be compensated at a Regional Pilot's rate, would you? Now go fly a few more to trips tp help pay for their Xmas bonuses.

The facts...

Is the issue with DW or the President? Got problems with the salary? Take it up with the BOD, they set the rules. The BOD is comprised of the status reps at your Air Line. However, there is a 66% change that you didn't vote, so you don't have a say anyway. And after you jack down the ALPA National salaries then what? Will that change your circumstance? Or does everybody have to be down if you are down. (hint: the issue is out there not within)

ARTICLE X - PRESIDENT

SECTION 5 ‑ SALARY

The Presidency of the Association shall be a full-time position with an annual salary. The salary of the President and method of payment shall be established by the Board of Directors during the meeting at which he is elected or reelected. His salary may be adjusted or supplemented by retirement, annuity payments, or other monetary benefits approved by the Board of Directors in session.

Irrelevant. MEC members aren't the only ones that can submit resolutions at Local Council meetings. Any member can. Yes, the MEC has to vote on it to send it to the BOD to get things changed, but I have yet to see anyone even try the first step of submitting a resolution at a Local Council meeting. Until that takes place, then everyone needs to stop the whining.

That person would probably get their house burned down, and run out of town.

Rez....have you been sicK? Away from a computer in a third world country? Have you been busy in Herndon? You're slipping there sport. Almost eight days before you replied to a thread displaying disgust about your beloved union.

Hiding behind the C&BL does not change the fact that it is a disgusting display of arrogance and greed to take these salaries when the membership is being decimated. Further, ALPA national has been spineless in any effective attempt to stem the race to the bottom.

It is a question of and about integrity Rez. Something this union has lost a long time ago.

WHAM-BAM!

You hit the nail on the head my brother! When ALPA can grab their cahonies and take a stand, maybe they would get a little respect.
