I would go with 737 or 320 for an airline job....

B727 Cause it's the best plane made.
ERJ170-190 Cause it a cool plane
ATR42 its the best prop out there!!!!

If you are looking for $$ get a Dassault 7x, for pure pleasure DC3

I would look in to the Falcon 7X. She is their newest type, beautiful, fast, comfortable, and since there aren't that many, you could be in demand as opposed to a CE500 series type.
