With al the tak on this thread about the "cheapest."

How much does mesaba cost, ASA, Comair, ect...

Yea, I didn't think you knew....

Wasnt there something in the latest agreement with Comair that said Comair was garunteed a certain percentage of new DCI flying? What happened there?

None of this is "new" flying. It was all previously awarded to freedom. Delta sees this as a reallocation not an award.

Even if there were such a guarantee, it's not like Delta would honor it. They don't honor anything else, goodness knows.

Really?

I don't remember ANY gloating. But then again your post could be read in that light now, couldn't it?

Really?
yaaaaaaaaaaay!
weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Well it looks as if Mesaba is the first safe regional...

The only question is how big will they get?

Saabs will be in ATL soon

Mesaba also was in the early stages of getting the ATR-72-600 for NorthWest...

There lies the rub when it comes to being wholly owned. The question becomes, "Is Delta going to sue itself if it breaks the agreement?"

No different than these...
ASA finally gets some 900s, too bad they have to park 20 200s
but the 1st of 20 isn't leaving until 2010...have a feeling those at ASA are safe.
Told ya'.....damn its tough being right all the time.....;)
Except these are not XJ guys. Interesting they both use the "safe' word.

No gloating. In tough times you have to look out for you and yours. To wipe your brow and have a false since of security when you get good news is inevitable. Maybe they shouldn't have expressed their relief on a forum thread, but don't globally bash a pilot group for a few individual comments.
