Yeah, right. And you know this how? Your "buddy" who heard it from a "steward" who actually hasn't done union work for years?

But here's a question: Who cares? As someone who works within the union I know it came from our union. However, what does it matter? It's a good deal for those who don't want to put themselves at increased exposure to the virus.

I guess it kinda of hurts to watch a decent labor-management relationship in action after you terminated yours. 10 days pay with the rest deferred to some unnamed later date? Sounds great!! And you get to drive how far now to go to work? Awesome!! The markets are way down, which makes it a great time to be putting money into them. How's that 401K match going over there right now?

If I were you, I wouldn't spend too much time worrying about what's going on at Netjets. Our respective companies will deal with it all as best they can. We'll be able to do a company-to-company analysis when it's all over.

What kind of maneuver could you make a hashtag for to describe Flex pilots working 15 days for 10 days pay and not getting their 401K match?

Flying is down but it is not non existent. We just got notified all pilots will continued to be paid (at a reduced guarantee) however not all will be deployed. For those deployed there will be a deffered payment that will eventually mean they'll be made whole. Naturally, 401k and bonuses are suspended.

In these uncertain times I am truly grateful to have a job and I do appreciate the outside of the box thinking going on trying to avoid the nasty F word.

All that said, I think we could have achieved the same results on the bottom line, if not better, by simply temporarily suspending the Red Label Program. I thought the reason DRL pilots were paid more was because they worked more, sacrificed more. Well, that's not really true right now is it? Especially if the majority will be sitting at home doing nothing.

Additionally, suspending the DRL program would allow for significantly greater flexibility and job retentions in the long haul as the company recovers. I thought the one true benefit we were supposed to receive from voting the union out was flexibility? That it would equate to better overall job protections? It's time for us all to put our money where our mouth is. First suspend DRL and then, if only necessary, implement these other steps.

Unfortunately, the current steps are more likely to effect the youngest of our pilot group (regular line or FO's), the ones most likely to have tiny mouths to feed and will be the first furloughed if it comes to that. Sorry but missing my boat payment is just not as important to me as everyone keeping their job if possible.

I appreciate all that is being done, whether Netjets furloughs or not, but my two cents is I hope Kenn pulls the trigger on DRL so the likelihood of us ALL retaining our jobs is higher.

Oh Dear Lord, where to start. I alluded people are scared and the TOPIC has been floated on our internal boards...from line pilots. SO, I’m sure if your friend asked a Steward, the Steward answered his question. There has been NO OFFICIAL communication to furlough. Again, your “buddy” is misinformed or he’s reading way too much into this As evidenced by your inference to senior leadership “bailing”.

Having said all this, we are in uncharted waters. We all may be on the street if this drags on through the summer and into autumn.

NetJets is #QuarterSized these days. I'm working 10 days per month getting paid for 15. Flying more than you guys. #TimesUp at NetJets. Again, how many of your friends are taking unpaid LOAs? #NJManagementBailing
