What does it take to fly for Fedex?

Just wondering. In the wee stages of my flying career, still working viciously on my private, just wondering what their minimum pre-reqs to be able to fly are? Currently a manager for them, but would like to fly for them if possible. Thanks

dude..set some goals..short and long term and go for it...it is worth it...connections will help you immensly..if you are a manager then you have an in already...keep flying and good luck!

Continue to stay focused on the goal of flying for FedEx. The job is definately worth the wait.
I have been flying the line for approximately 2 years, but have worked for the company for more than 20 years. The path I chose was not an easy one, but I chose not to listen to all the NAY SAYERS who said I would never achieve my goal. I chose not to listen to all the negative comments related to my pursuits. However; I will say that dealing with these did build character.

My best advice for you is to stay focused on the goal, adopt a 'can-do' attitude, and do your best to not let the negative comments get you down.
Also; continue to stay in touch with Mr. Logue, he can be very helpful in your career pusuits at FedEx.

A doctorate in nuclear or astro physics, 27000 hours,
26ooo of them in wide body aircraft and a lunar landing
would be a good start...they might be looking at Space
Shuttle pilots now too...

hehehe, seriously, good luck. I remember the good
old days when people went to UPS and FedEx
because SWA, UAL, Delta, AA or where ever they
really wanted to go wouldn't hire them.

Makes it tough on the guys that always wanted to
be freight dogs in the first place. Really, good luck.
