Waiting on a class with Delta

IF....Delta and UAL merge, don't you think there'd be an excess # of pilots resulting in furloughs? I'd be a bit nervous if I was in the pool for either airline.

Geez. There are merger rumors every few months. Before it was Northwest. Before that it was Jetblue. I am more worried about oil prices.

I do not think that there would be any furloughs if DAL merged with either one of them. Both are in hiring mode, so at worst maybe a stop on hiring.
I looked and up to the class that started on Monday we had about 340 for the year.
