To have an appeal filed, there must be proof that there was corruption, wrong-doing, or illegality by the court or witnesses.

An appeal may not be filed because the loser of the battle did not like the outcome of the case because it did not go their way like the easties view of the Nicolau award.

This is the end of the road boys and girls. Get over it and move forward.

Most excellent point....

General,

You're doing a fine job a campaigning for ALPA. You sound like everyone's dream come true as far as a union brother is concerned.

 Huh ???...someone who supports "tyranny over the minority " spouting off about "union brotherhood ?? "
Man is that rich .

Doug and co. should never have touched USAir. If they had let the free market have it's way, the only seniority list the USAir pilots would be complaining about would be the one at Home Depot.

then they would be senior to AW, at the depot, cause there doors would have shut soon after.

You East guys are a bunch of babies, and it's time for you to go to your rooms for a "time out." You will hopefully lose big time. Hey, if you accept binding arbitration, and you knew Nicelau (you wanted him initially), and he kept telling you DOH wouldn't work and to come up with something else, and you didn't, then TOO BAD.
Having spent 4 days in the courtroom myself, it is obvious that the East wanted to evade binding arbitration. Too bad for them, USAPA is driving a Yugo and the cops are closing in.

Verdict by Tuesday or Wednesday.

The East is trying desperately to make a case to the jury that the award isn't fair. Unfortunately for them, the trial is about whether or not USAPA is properly representing the West pilots, not about integration. What I find amazing while sitting in the courtroom is how the East boys explain USAPA is better for West pilots because it eliminated ALPA's "log jam" requirement of dual ratification by each MEC and subsequently, each pilot group. Since the East outvotes the West almost 2 to 1, they're going to push whatever agenda they see fit. But don't worry....their constitution promises to be fair.

Unfortunatly, if they convince one jurist that some West "kid" is trying to steal the money poor Sully is saving to keep from living in a van by the river, it's over. What ever the judge might have said about the objective of the case is moot and the BS that the East has been pulling in court worked..and they have pulled some antics.

Let's hope the system works.
