So is USA Jet going to pick up some of the -9's NWA is going to park?

Heard a rumor USA Jet is going to renew the offer they made a while back?

Any meat to that?

I'd be awfully surprised if they were interested. They aren't flying all the DC-9s they have.

Also, as I understand it, Boeing doesn't want any more DC-9s to have cargo doors. Who cares you say - well, Boeing owns all the engineering for the DC-9 now. What I heard was that they wanted to push the any cargo conversions toward the 737 line.

Of course, I'm not in the loop over there as much.

They may want them for there passenger ops. We are hoping to use them quite a bit. The only reason we aren't using them now is some technicality with a charter company until May I believe.

Exec Jet is hoping to use USAJet quite a bit? or use DC-9's quite a bit?

USA Jet is an Exec Jets approved charter company. Often Exec Jet customers want to move 40-50 people at a time, our DC-9-10 with 50 first class seats fit the bill.

So it is true that you guys are picking up NWA -9s?

I heard that USA Jet is talking with ABX Air about ABX taking over all of USA Jet's flight training and moving it to ILN. They already do some of their heavy mx there now.
