On another note. Are there any furloughed guys that haven't come back yet? had a buddy that's on voluntary, and he got his take it or leave it letter. Thought there were still guys out on involuntary that bypassed the 190???

If he is on voluntary he probably is getting offered something besides the 190. There are still a fair amount people out on furlough. You can bypass the 190 indefinitley.

Interesting, as I thought you didn't have to come back until all the guys junior to you had been recalled, or in the voluntary case, all the other furloughes had been recalled. He's on contract till April 1 anyways. So doesn't matter

Bid results?

When are the results for the 2011 bid supposed to be published? Any insider info? Are they going to be able to fill the 40 slots with all recalls?
Thanks!

Latest bid results should be available tomorrow, the 7th. I think everyone that's currently furloughed will have a slot on the new bid if they want to come back at this time. Like someone else mentioned, you can indefinitely pass on 190 slots for recall.

Will anything besides the 190 be offered?

It'll be interesting to see how this plays out with the West Furloughees.

I agree.
Being almost at the bottom of the West seniority list
I have zero impact on how it all plays out and will
probably never come back. Doug's temp offer of coming back
to an 18 month seat lock in PHL for 41 bucks an hour AND
having to give up what tiny little bit of seniority was
just an insult as far as I was concerned. If I didn't have a
better offer I might have been less insulted but the whole
principal of the things smells IMHO.:puke:

It isn't a temporary offer. If you are a west pilot and accept the 190 you are basically a new east employee that after 18 months can return to the west if you wish, assuming there is a position available at that time. You are given a new employee number and new date of longevity when making the switch. The whole thing is being handled the same way it was back in 2005 when some east pilots took a recall to the west, they are today still in phx. Also, if we ever get a single list you will reclaim the 10-15 numbers you lost.
