Yeah, they thought they would get DOH too!
PBR

Is this true? Someone on the inside at US Airways thinks this is in talks...

I have heard this over and over again. Might be a GOOD "RUMOR"!

CYA

The only value would be the Frontier's Airbuses, but buying Republic most likely not true.

Is USairways buying republic with the money that republic lent to USairways a couple of years ago to keep them afloat?

And that money Rep lent to US Air came from where? The very place Rep gets their cash in the first place, US Air - thus the full circle cash swap.

Can I have some of what your smoking??????? I must be real good!

Money laundering at it's finest!

Airline management and the US government seem to have this financial shell game down to a science.....

What we are out of money?

Let's print some more!

Let's charge the out sourced regionals to fly our colors.
If you want to operate for us you'll need to refinance our airline first!:bomb:

Actually, what will probably happen is the west will be spun off to Republic. This is more than a rumor.

Cool. An airline I would actually be willing to ride as a passenger. As opposed to the East...

Yeah, I have to agree loosing an affiliation with airways would be a good thing...

That's OK. There was a whole plane load of people we dropped of in the Hudson last year that were quite happy with our performance (on-time notwithstanding.)

I bet every one would have preferred to have taken a Southwest flight and not had to take the Hudson diversion if given the choice.

I know it is a bit paranoid, but as a furloughed guy that is how I roll right now.
The latest USAPA E-mail made mention of some sort of feel good meeting coming up with "The International Brotherhood Of Teamsters". Kind of represented it as a get to know you sort of thing. Like I said before I lean a bit to the paranoid side of things as this is definitely not my first rodeo, but is not the Republic Pilot group represented by the IBT?
Things that make you go HHHHHMMMMMMMMMM

What is your source? Care to add anything more than just an opinion?

...but now you're stuck throwing bags for NetJets and cruising this board with envy.

Bwahahahahahahaha!!!! Tip your waiters and waitresses folks, he'll be here all week.
