You forgot to mention where exactly that 16.4 year pilot was on his own list compared to the "working" probation pilot..

ALPA policy said "no windfall" and a 2 month pilot on probation being senior to a 16.4 year pilot is a "windfall" everyone knows that. ALPA would have lost a giant DFR suit. .

No, you could have filed a DFR on ALPA prior to entering into SLI negotiations because they didn't offer you a DOH option, but once you knew the rules and were reminded that DOH was unattainable, and yet still decided to go forward with a mutually acceptable arbitrator, you let ALPA off the hook. That's precisely why ALPA uses an arbitrator, so that it can't put itself in the middle and be sued.

USAPA never has grasped this simple concept, although I have paid thousands to cover their tuition.
