I'm very interested to see how the first few months of this new union's childhood turn out.

I think it will be interesting too, And I think J41's comment that the same Union shouldn't represent both groups is a good call.

However I think ALPA will be just a bit more sympathetic to our needs then in the past.

Shouldn't be just interesting, it should be damn interesting what happens.

Not yet, but hope springs eternal! We haven't cruised anywhere yet; dang plane seems to have a bunch of stuff go way wrong after every takeoff! It's been great so far- and I mean it. First LOFT in a couple of hours.

The USAPA boys will insist that PDT/PSA abandon ALPA & join their new "union" under the threat of no cooperation between the mainline & WO's.

Maybe we should all wear lanyards that say "seniority matters" & see where 20 years at PDT gets us. My guess is NOWHERE with the USAPA.

This is soooo true. But the threat of no cooperation rings pretty hollow. Like a threat to take away a kids allowance when he doesn't receive an allowance.
