About the physical... Does it look like the astronaut physical from 'The Right Stuff' or is it of the more laid back variety?
It's a laid back physical. Typical stuff you would find during a First Class physical plus a few extras. i.e., when I did it, they did some blood work, and the doctor had me run in place for a couple of minutes.

This is NOT something one should sweat. If you can pass a flight physical, you should have no problem with this. It's been 4 years since I did mine, so unless things have changed dramatically since then, this is what to expect.

BTW, it's not a company doctor. It is a local flight surgeon the company uses here in town.

Again, welcome aboard to all those who are joining UPS!!
