When does the current contract expire?

As sad as it be, its a given industry wide that first year pay is gonna suck no matter who your flying for, it be United , or Fed Ex, but is there any talk of fixxing 2nd year and up pay scales in the upcoming contract.....
Yeah, that's true, the first year pay will suck no matter who you go with - but I'd rather take first year pay at FedEx than UAL. Amazing how the cargo sector has turned it all around - now the package cargo pilots are at the top of the pay scales!

Dear xxxx:

Thank you for submitting your application for the Pilot position with United Airlines. We are presently reviewing all candidate credentials for our pilot openings. In doing so, we have discovered an inconsistency in how candidates have recorded flight time on the second portion of the application. Therefore, we would like you to review the new Instructions for Recording Flight Time posted on www.united.com/pilot.

Please take the time to review the edited instructions and resubmit your flight time even if you believe you interpreted the instructions correctly during your initial application. Please fill out an online assessment questionnaire as soon as possible.

We thank you for your interest in United Airlines.

Best regards,
Human Resources Department
United Airlines

As if the instructions weren't already confusing enough. WTF, United? The "professors" live up to their reputation once again!

UAL App.

Yeah, like they couldn't have just used AirlineApps and added their own frickin addendum. What a pain in the ass this whole application has been.

The system won't even allow you to resubmit the secondary assessment they refer to in the email. WTF is right.

just don't leave a good CRJ CA job for it (IMHO).

Such a thing simply does not exist. The job security at any regional makes United look like UPS.

They fixed the assessment. You can fill it out again if you click on the link in the e-mail.

Before I start filling out the App. I was wondering if a person can fill some of it out then save it and finish it at a later date. Or once you start you must finish????
