Economies of scale also dictate that it is more efficient to have flight attendants stay at different hotels than pilots.

"Agenda Item Regarding Recall of the Master Chairman Deferred. Following meeting in Subcommittee, the Subcommittee recommended deferring action on the agenda item until Thursday morning and the MEC voted to defer action on the agenda item until Thursday."

So you relaxed it to the level of the least restrictive of the 2 airlines. What about ability to add 3 70 seaters for every 1 additional narrow body? Whose contract was that in before the merger contract? I believe that's scope relief. No wonder you got a contract right away, management was foaming at the mouth when DALPA was happy to give away more flying.

Idiot....

That was in the Delta contract pre-merger.......

Got anything else you are misinformed about?? Keep opening your yapper and we can fix stupid!!!

You can not survive with more than a 70 hour reserve guarantee as well.

Hamfighter.. i know you're being sarcastic.. but there are actually people out there that listen to what management says and base their opinions on just that- what they are fed.. Just because management says we 'can afford it' you can't just believe them and walk away.

Btw Delta contract + 1 with the scope release was a setback and a concession to Continental pilots. That's why it hasn't even reached the pilot group to vote on before it got shot down by the union. It was a no brainer. If the new UAL was given DL scope, they would furlough by the 100s again.. really, they would. And everyone knows that here at CAL (UA especially after the 70seaters came in and the 737s went 'poof be gone').

F$%k Delta's scope. Wait till the DC-9s are all gone.. the RJs will replace those slots.
