But but but nevets said......

Glad to know you are thinking of me. Anyway, the only thing I said about these aircraft was that my hope is that Mesa gets them.

Nevets hasnt come on here yet to tell everyone how XJT had first refusal rights, and that obviously XJT refused?

First right of refusal to replace XJT 145s, not the first right of refusal for any bid. Are you guys really that dense?

When it comes down to it does "SkyWest Inc." have first right of refusal.. Or "XJT"?....

Well, we all know who has the purse strings. But they would be required to go to LXJT.

Just wait until the JCBA "forces" you to buy a $700 Ipad. The $400 ones?
Not sure there were ever any of those

You must not keep up with Tech. iPad 2s are under $300. Refurbished iPad 3rd generation starts at $300, brand new iPad Mini starts at $329, brand new iPad 4th Gen starts at $500, all with 16GB, which is way more than enough space to download the Jepp Charts.

$700 iPads are the brand new 4th Gen iPad with 64GBs of storage with 3G data and GPS receiver. There is zero chance the company will require this iPad.

.

so what exactly do you claim you have first right of refusal of? that if your 145's go away you get new aircraft? how is that different from United giving 30 170's to Mesa, then announcing a month/year later that 40 XJT 145's are being parked? Or are you just saying that IF United wanted to park 40 145's ( early) they would have to 'offer' XJT new aircraft in some 2/1 3/1 ratio type deal

Me thinks that these aircraft will go elsewhere. Then me thinks that ERJ's will get parked when their respective contracts are up for renewal. Our management is stuck in the scare into concessions mindset.

The only thing I haven't completely figured out is why our hyper-arrogant, know-it-all, ultra-secretive management has recently launched all this all-employee focus groups and call-ins. Have they finally realized that they are nothing more than a monkey fornicating a football, or is it just the next "lets make our employees think we care" ploy.

Sorry, I'd love to help, but I'm too busy writing up our broken airplanes and have no time at home since I'm never there because I'm scheduled for 12 days out of 14.

I got here right after the George and John days, so I don't have a reference. But, the days of Skip were far better for overall moral than what we have now. I have always thought that management peps that came in after DFW closed, and the unrelated ultralight accident, were to blame for all the negative changes. Now, I think the nose dive is too steep for St George to pull out of. So, for you management wanks that are reading this and truly want to improve this place, better start treating us with some respect and spend some money to make this place better. The more you push us into a box, the more we will push back. It's that simple. The payback will be returned, I promise that.

Sheesh, you can't throw logic at Nevets like that.

Unless SKWY,Inc is willing to invest in the E175 those planes will go elsewhere. Inc is so busy stepping over dollars to save dimes that they are missing out on opportunities, and losing investor confidence. Part of it has to do with penny-pinching and the other part has to do with putting contract leverage before good business.

JA knew how to invest good money wisely, the only thing current mgmt knows how to do is cut corners and send out fluffy emails.
