Just in case you did not already know I thought that I would just come right out and say it.

If you are offered and interview at TSA, respectfully decline. There are better places to be, not G0Jet either.

Just a word of advice.
 
I thought maybe they would learn that labor peace is more profitable than labor unrest, but I guess that lesson was lost on them.
 
The rumor mill says that the GAY-WAY guys are paying for CASS out of their own pockets! It will be tough for the trans states guys to get a good deal with those ASS CLOWNS bending over all the time.

I think that we should figure out how to merge the two airlines together, do you think this will work? I will push it on the GJ side. One seniority list ! Any Ideas

I did not start this thread to argue about G0Jet. I simply wanted to inform those who may not know any better that TSA is NOT the place to be, even for a short time.

It would be nice to get some cooperation from the G0Jet guys against our common enemy, but with a management stooge in charge of your local union, I doubt that will ever be possible. Good luck to you guys, your turn will come.

I do agree with the above. Look at it this way. Do you REALLY think TSAH will treat you folks at GoJet any different?

Look at the Eastern/Continental war during the 80's with Frank Lorenzo. Also on the commuter level look at the Precision/Northeast battle of the early 90's. Some of you will know what I am referring to. I am of the opinion we will see more of this in the commuter industry.
 
I think the precision/northeast battle will be a lot like the ASA/Skywest debate but much bigger and with potential to be much worse...

Question? Is it possible to vote in ALPA now that Teamsters is on property?
 
Everyone needs to step back and look at the facts...

Our company made over 25 million last year, as reported to the DOT for the G0J3T certification process.
Lets assume that the company made 20 million the year before, and 15 million before that.
That would be roughly 60 million in profit in the past three years.

The union signed a 2 year contract extension a few years ago which allowed the company to grow and secure the original United flying.

The CBA HAS a pay-scale for larger aircraft.
The APA scope does NOTallow "our" company to fly these larger aircraft on the original certificate.

Starting a new airline (G0J3T.. what a bad name.. Gateways Airline would have sounded better!) was understandable.

What was not understandable is why a company and management team would treat its employees so poorly when these same employees made the whole operation possible!

The Fact is, the company FIRST hired management pilots from TSA and called them "line" pilots at G0J3Ts, and then had them try to unionize before even giving TSA pilots a deal on the table.

That "deal" was NOT negotiated between the union and the company, it was "offered" after the pilots at TSA walked the line and made the news... lets call it what it was, an ultimatum (didn't come up with that.. a great pilot who has since moved onto JB did!).

Our pilots voted down a bad deal even though the union said the company may not come back with another offer.. I heard that with my own ears at a roadshow (even though I always EXPECTED the company to come back with a "real, honest" offer).

Now our airline/management has decided that we are too fat on pilots, and has furloughed almost 60 pilots, along with downgrading new captains.
But without forward thinking, they now find themselves short of pilots because many FO's, seeing Capt's getting downgraded, seeing flying being transfered to G0J3TS, are applying and getting on with other regionals.
Now the company is rescinding their last furlough... but how many will come back?

The company has already canceled flights due to crew shortages. They have also tried to fly check airman in the right seat...
It's just gonna keep getting worse.

The fact is, our company is now a shell of what it was, and many people see this. Maybe that's "their" plan.. to sink this ship. But remember, these are the same guys running that "other" ship".
Have always been a proud TSA pilot, always will...

the only reason that alpa never had a chance was because of all the TWA pilot that hate alpa. At the time of the vote there where around 50 pilots that where allowed to vote. I think that with 150 pilots on property there might be chances to vote in alpa.

I say to tell all of your furlough pilot to come over to gojet and we will have an alpa drive.

On a much funnier note in ORD on my last trip yesterday and Trans States is flying ORD-ALB due to go jets plane breaking... so when you guys fall apart we pick up your routes?!?! I didn't know we could do that with Sky West, CHQ vica versa. Seperate companies right?

This is so messed up oh well good luck TSA Go Jets will get whats coming just a matter of time....

ALPA did not screw the TWA pilots, the TWA MEC screwed the TWA pilots.

If that's true I can't believe that TSA actually flew it. Say just what was posted here, and if they don't like that then call in sick.
