What is it with this new aviation culture where everyone wants to rat everyone else out?! If friggin' sickens me....

I've been wondering the same thing.

In addition to commuting, medicals, line checks, pcs, violations etc etc I guess we now have to worry about the chief calling us in on the carpet because someone, another pilot no-less, didn't like the way we taxied out of the ramp. Your f'n kidding me right? I really hope your just board and wanted to get a rise out some people. If you are board, or you really are a big enough tool to call atc and the airline in question, I recommend that you get laid as soon as possible. Maybe that will chill you out a tad. If a little lovin is not readily available, and I have a sneaky suspicion that might just be the case, tell mom you need some quiet time and lock yourself in your room with the most recent edition of National Geographic. Good luck.

Your an embarrasment to the Pilot Community! How'd that ASA Interview go? I'm sure they were able to see what most of put together in about 5 seconds. Losen up!!!

If you think someone pulling out in front of you is Unsafe, Please don't ever go to O'Hare. They will take your Westwind, turn it into a cube, and ship it back to you. Your a Professional Pilot, so Act like one. That means realizing that you and other guys will make mistakes. I was not there, and have no clue what happened. I will tell you this, no metal was bent, and no insurance companies were called.

After reviewing some of you other posts, I have to say, first, I'm fairly certain that that Captain wasn't in La-La-Land, but just tuning you out. He must have figured it was better to fly the thing Single-Pilot than to listen to you.

Then let's talk about Safety, since someone pulling infront of you is at the forefront of you problems. In one of your last posts, this is a quote that you made.....
"It made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. I could tell something wasn't quite right with him during the rest of the flight, which made me feel even more uncomfortable as our next destination was being approached by level 5 TSRA with 2 inch hail and 50 knot gusts tops up to FL470."

You sit here, and have the audacity to critize someone elses decisioning making when you are making these type of decision. You felt uncomfortable with a situation; and a fellow pilot, but you still departed to a destination with Level 5 Weather.

I think you need to take a hard look at the decisions you are making. You are not making friends in a industry where you already have very little. We, As Pilot's Do Not Need this! File a Nasa Form if you feel like you need to write a report, at least some good will come of it.

I can only hope that this Captain does not offer you an apology, but rather discloses you to the FAA. You are a CRM Nightmare! Good Day!

I will say only this: If someone tells me to: "quit your bitchin" over the radio, I would politely offer to meet that individual at the local of his choosing for a "one on one" discussion.

Likewise. But, then, this little nerd will “four-one-one” your chief’s number & turn you in for something else.

If I was cut off unsafely I would probably say something to the other plane. I think we all would. If they told me to "quit my bitch-en" I would go to our professional standards to give a call to theirs to see if there was something wrong with this guy who did something dangerous with a transport jet. So maybe he would give it a second thought in doing this to someone else. If it was a check airman, I would want to know if a check airman of mine represented our company in this way. They are suppose to represent the standard. No matter how popular they are.

Although foolish to come here and try to deal with this situation.

What were you thinking!!!

Pro standards & his own chain of command has been the point of many others who contributed to this thread since he felt so strongly about being cut off. Also, yes, the standard for check airmen is undoubtedly higher and, personally knowing the TRS855 capt while observing the aforementioned nerd keep stepping over his little d!ck, the benefit of my doubt goes to the TRS capt’s actions/words. What this westwind copilot has failed to see is at the end of the day no one would condone unprofessional behavior in this industry (even the very “idiot woodwork” of flightinfo.com to which he came for answers/sympathy) but the way & attitude with which he has gone about acquiring it.

There was not any intention of getting anyone in trouble. Nor was there any intention of dragging anyone else through the mud.

3rd:
My Captain has spoken with Airtran's Chief Pilot, and is awaiting a phone call from the Captain.

4th:
ATC at MSP was contacted because the ground controller thought we were asking who had the right of way in an attempt to chew him out. We asked for the controllers operating initials over the radio and the tower number so that we could clarify to him that we were not blaming him for what Airtran did. He kept apologizing over the radio thinking it was his fault.

Anyway.....

You ever stop to think that the captain and I did pursue this on the 27th. Not only have we spoken to the tower watch superviser who was on during the shift, and the ground controller who was working south ground at that time, but they also pulled the radio tape and sent a copy of it,

Not wanting to get anyone in trouble??? YGTBSM! Look at the length you have gone to highlight someone's mistake. You won't be happy until someone is hanging by the rafters. Is that really how you want to be treated?

As far as not replying without info you need, you definitely need the following advice--

LEARN HOW TO TURN THE OTHER CHEEK

I'm actually on your side on this. We just touched down the other day and this Fucking groundhog darted out from the side. I clearly had the right of way.

I thought about calling his Chief Hog, but didn't want the extra work.

Seriously dude, let it go.
